Hmm seems to me if Shearing goes live i would rather have a Friar in my group for one of many reasons.
1: Tank who cant be sheared
2: he is able to rebuff bases while rooted and heal until the root wears off (hey no Det poor thing
)
3: he has his own end regen
4: he hits for nice damage.
5: comes with his own line of resist buffs
6: he can COMBAT REZ!
7: he can aquire purge and certain artefacts to assist in preventing himself being mezzed/stunned as much.
8: last resort...he can heal. i dont expect him to though, nor rebuff unless he cant do anythign else.
Either way this is certainly making Buffbots stand in a precarious place now.
Oh we would still suffer from a lack of general damage output but we've been suffering this for a while now and we always seem to pull thrrough.
It also means maybe a 40 Enh 10 S rest R (30 something cant remember exact detail) would become more viable givent the right TOA kit out. (25% buff enhancement and MOA2 = buff cap) you got yourself a mobile buffbot who heals, shears the enemy (causing damage
) and add in the few pb interupts.
Both the cleric and the friar would be limited in what they can do at any one time in a fight, but a canny player will be able to use the right tool at the right time im sure.
