I used to vote Lib Dem but I have no time for them now. As an opposition party they are a joke. They spend all their time sucking up to Tony Blair in the hope he'll give them a little power and maybe think about Proportional Representation in the next millenium, if it's not too much trouble. No matter what the government did during the last term if the Tories attacked it as they should the Lib Dems attacked the Tories. Some of the sucking up done during PM's question time by Charles Kennedy was embarrassing.

Their attitude to Europe is exactly the same. They'd give our powers (magic, special, super stuff ) away to the commision without a second thought.

Their front bench is also way left of Labour's cabinet but won't admit it.

I respect their honesty on the tax issue but very little else these days.
