Where is everyone, Emains empty most of the time.
Albs do show up once in a while, but die fast most of the times, be in because of a counter-zerg or whatever. And more then 10 hibs haven't been spotted in Emain in 2 days.

Is everyone taking a break? or WHAT... if not let's get some good rvr going again. If u don't want to be zerged, don't camp gates so the enemy has to built up forces to break it. Walk around in teams of between 10 - 18 ppl or so.

Loads of us are pissed off, Zerg sucks. Loads of albs playing alts, playing in Bg, playing in Odin´s. Dunno what happens with hibs but maybe the same.

I know, i don´t say nothing new, but zerg sux.

could be that ppl testing out chars for pvp thats what some of the hibs that i know are doing.

Emain is just plain boring lately you can't go anywhere without running in more enemies than you can deal with.
In my guild we mostly paly alts lately. Maybe others do that too.

Yep i was testing my hero in Prydwen and i found some nice mids Paws, Adwing and Jagang (from Shield of Valhalla). Salutes to all !

Some albs there too.

I remember a long time ago, mids got owned all over the place by smootly run Royal bavarion groups. Guess the knowledge about how it worked has been lost, a real shame...

The same thing happened before the 1.49 patch. Then it was because Albs were swarming through Emain in multiples of 50, overrunning everyone in sight. Now it's because the same group of high level Mids has been playing all day, every day, for the past three weeks.

People play this game to have fun; when it becomes no fun, for whatever reason, they stop. Either those Mids are going to have to take a break while people slowly come back, or you're going to have to wait until after the next patch, which is what usually brings loads of people back into the game after things have died down a bit.

First of all let me start by calling you an ignorant twat and now let me explain why you are one. Around 11 am cet (even on weekdays) the mid zerg starts to set up a blockade at amg killing off all the incoming albs discouraging them from even practicing RvR for the rest of the day. Once a good blockade is set up Np eiter reinforces it if isn't very strong or goes roaming in emain when they are conviced nobody can get past easy. Soooo now you have 2 balanced groups running around in a frontier that has been isolated from large forces getting in. You gank whatever you find in hibbie land , rejoin the amg campers whipe out albs in a rush to aptk, camp that a bit, move back to amg and then do another emain tour. No wonder you stack up rpoints if your realm controls who gets into emain. Have a nice day in empty emain today.

This game has the potential to be amazing.....The graphics landscapes, characters, items, etc etc are really good.

The realm concept and RVR system needs a major overhaul. The current RVR system is highly repetative, highly unbalance, envolves massive amounts of time travelling relative to time spent fighting, and tbh its a bit boring now.....

still have more likes than dislikes though generally... (just)

Emain has become slightly more boring because other frontiers have become more interesting. I've also started getting more into DF raids now. People with no imagination who just keep charging Emain will find it gets repetitive, naturally. Most people not even using 10% of the diversity that DaoC actually offers.

surely the point of RvR is to win the war, which at the moment hibs are doing, but I see no problem with mids keeping albs out.

If there are so many mids in emain, why not go odins instead? and control who comes outta yggadra and uplands the same way?

Cant believe that some good players complain because at the moment the enemy is strong at milegates, thats why mile gates are there!

May I remind you that you bought the game, made a char, played till lvl 50, got owned in emain and quited yourself....

I've taken a break (for a month) so I can see if PvP is gonna be fun (gonna do 3 month payment again) and if it ain't fun I'll quit the game.
Been playing Divine Divinity now (lvl 25 warrior) and the game is quite funny.
