Bookable servers

When are we going to be able to book BF1942 servers? It doesn't show em in the diary. Saying that though, BF1942 doesn't even appear in the games list.

The server load of BF1942 is currently too high to allow bookables in it's current form. Perhaps that BW will find another way for it.

its supposed to be a landing craft with guys in it, and one in the water

Deathace's update here would indicate that there's some work to be done by EA really, before Bookables are a possibility. The game needs has to be managed by BWs management software (as far as I'm aware) to be included in the Bookable system. At the moment the servers are maintained manually.

Load on servers to much? No way!! most weekday evenings are dead on the servers, and weekends manage to fill up one server poss halfway on anouther. After midnight they might as well have the game.tumbleweedenable 1 set by the admin. Patch requirement yes. Load? no way!!!! Don't treat us like EA!!!

Calm down, lad. BF1942 is a resource-intensive game, even when idle. It's also not completely compatible with the BW management software which is essential for bookables and clan servers. BW are good lads and they know there's money in them thar BF hills.

If it can be sorted out... they will.

Summo actually provided the "we can't hold them" voice for BF1942, unfortunately it was gained without his permission and under quite diverse circumstances.
