I dont understand why people complain so much about BD's when other realms have insane pet spam and Necromancer's.

When Warlock is unleashed, then maybe you can complain, but then again we may have all Mid running around with Warlocks and no supporting class, there for Mids will be owned.

Yeah, Necromancers are definatly as strong as BDs.

And on the topic, lagstrafe and runthrough is more killing the game then imbalance imo.

In melee yes. But the pet is blue con, can CC full time with no immunity timer. If can't kill it you can run away. Just compare necros and dbs last week RP

Because bd's can last for ages or actually win fights by just strafing around trying to get out of sight? At least necro's/theurg's need to cast spells, rather than strafing around till pets kill the target. (waves to aldoran)

if people run through just /stick - strafe left or right and side style or slam etc .. isnt rocket science

Seems to me like most people already learned how to beat BDs... but it seems a few haven't.

Doesn't get any easier if they only strafe about, for a tank, that is -.-
And that's what they tend to do :x Can't style them whatsoever in most fights, so basicly fighting unstyled against 2 healing pets and an ocasional lt if they get bored of strafing ;x

Well mezz on a necro is pointless, they will just keep demezzing it. If they dont they doing something wrong.

As for root, unless they finally fixed it then you can get the pet to recal to your position even if it is still rooted. It cant go chasing anyone but as long as you move to a position where it can attack from it will be able to continue attacking.

Its because weaknesses are the fact it can be chain stunned and 2 shot with nukes.

If someone strafe-fights, just /face him.. it aint that hard. A while back I encountered a jerk who strafed while fighting all the time, couldn't beat him because I got "out of view" msg all the time. So I right-now'ed it.. the reply I got was to use /face instead of /stick, which is what caused the problem - 2 ppl sticking and strafing. And let's face it, how many people have a clean conciense when it comes to strafe fighting anyway? I'm sure pretty much everyone has done it or is doing it in RvR, so it's really not that big of a deal.

It's a programming poop, but it wont be changed, so deal with it instead of crying like a baby.

Must say even i begun to strafe alot more now, though main reason is people abusing flaws against me so i do it back. Had to laugh as the other day Saitoh said i had learnt well from him when i ran with a PE group. I moc on maelstrom and attack the annoying skald on me (hiya Elly) and they started to run through me. Moment moc ended i started to strafe around them, was quit funny as i was warping around the place for miles as im on someone elses connection that on constant upload must of survived about 2minutes by strafing

edit: /face doesnt work well either against good people. Try using /face against a tank as a caster and you will still get oov alot of the time. Add to the fact that using /face means that person can then strafe round then sprint of leaving you miles behind.

Really i would prefer /stick and /face taken out the game altogether apart from being able to use it on own realm. That would fix this problem easily. But then that just me

Personally I think all nightshades that does the old strafe trick to avoid being nuked should be banned. It's a totally overpowered class that gets stealths. Nukes like a cloth caster, is immune to poisons and weaponprocs, wear platemail-like armour and they have the insanely overpowered safe fall ability as well! Nerf!

And then ontop they use those lame tactics of run-through so you can't nuke them down.

thing with a BD is if you get a out of view message he'll buy time for his healers to heal him, and that means you loose, that's why it sucks.
