I think both albs and mids have done this equally much since like the beginning of time tbh.
Personally I have been on two keeptakings which I can recall, one was 1fg of us in renaris, ended pretty quickly when you brought 3fg. The other was a truly enjoyable evening at caer benowyc, where we wiped the attackers.
Guards before = /laugh
Guards now = OUCH!!!!
It is a huge difference. Esepcially for assasins trying to climb the battlements, which means casters up there are much safer which means even more pain for those below.
It was just generally too boring pointless to stay and get farmed. And going to Sauvage was an accident which happened to turn out really well in the end

You are just laughable, you guild has taken many keeps and spent the night farming and yet you post here attempting to rain on our parade with you complete negativity. When Warders do something that benefits Midgard you guys rock right? Yet when we take a keep, defend it well and give Albion access to Darkness Falls all night we suck? Me thinks you need to quit this game and go outside, take a deep breath and remember that it is just a game because right now you are taking yourself far too seriously.
Oh and let me add, this game is all about using keeps and relics to sway the balance of power. Now that your realm doesn't own this server anymore all we hear now is whiners instead of the fighting talk we expected. If you don't want to take enemy keeps and hold them you are doing your realm a dishonour and you whole attitude seems to be more about earning realm points than making your realm strong again.

The relic raids I've been on have been well planned and fantastically executed. Big shoututs to Onslaught, and Durgi for planning them.
They never work though, not because of us doing it wrong, but because of 1 or 2 people who think it's hilarious to tell IRC about it. But that's not the topic on hand....

But hey, that's DAoC! Guess I was a bit depressed after that attack, but I've just had a great time in Emain with full zergs of mids, hibs and albs all charging at each other at the AMG
Hope the SC/Alk fad has ended, and we can finally get some decent RvR groups out there.

Yet another post where you display what an utter fuckwit you are. Oh and nice insults on the name and wife, comeback when you can think of something that a 12 year old wouldn't say becuase those insults were worse than some of the shit that gets posted on Excal Forums.
Face facts, you are a whining little shit who respresents everything that is wrong with Midgard right now. You play for yourself and not your realm which is confirmed by your posts. Frankly your attitude sucks, stop whining about tougher guards and go get a fucking plan together. Act like an adult and try change matters, don't post on forums with all your negativity when someone else does something for thier realm.
Did the new guards stop relic changes on the american servers? No, the yanks developed new plans and worked damn hard. That is something alot of Mids can't be arsed to do anymore and everyone on this server can see it.
The classy Mids will keep trying and think of new ideas while you play nice little realm point whore and let everyone else give a fuck about your realm, then you can run about boosting your personal kill total.

That would require effort bud, they are just pissed that all the unemployed players in Midgard who used to stay up till 4am for relic raids can no longer be arsed as the who system of relic raids is now harder. They don't want to change tactics because the old ones served them so well. Also many of them can't face facts that they got caught with thier pants down when we took the relics back, even though they knew that the new patch would make relic changes that much harder. They had 4 days after we took the relic to make a huge effort in getting them back before patch day, instead emain was full most nights and the brave Mids who did turn up didn't have the numbers to make a real assault.
Seriously, I hope the kick ass Mids of old turn up one day instead of the whining babies that keep saying 'the guards are too hard'. If the shoe was on the other foot now and you had strong guards plus all 3 relics then Albion would be having a hard time, we would still be trying like hell to get them back though. The odds against retaking them aren't impossible, just means you need a better plan and to get your entire realm raiding at a time when Albion can't properly defend. Short term effort won't work, it will take weeks of knocking down doors and making things hard for Albs.

Wild imagination? Well ok you have me there As for Midgard, I do know there is alot of dissent right now between guilds and individuals, not unlike Albion has been in the not too distant past. I have a neighbor who has played Midgard for about 8 months so I have that on good authority. To be honest Freia it all boils down to much of what I have said above, alot of Mids need to quit feeling sorry for themselves and get back the work ethic they used to have when it came to fighting for the realm. People whining about the new guard code does nothing to advance the cause of Midgard, it is time for them to put up or shut up. Relics can be taken with the new guard code and you are more than welcome to come and try take them back. As for the halo remark....... I am deeply offended now

As a realm Midgard will probably keep doing Primetime raids we are getting better at dealing with alb and hib spys and Mid loudmouths. and at dealing with all the Ingame crap Mythic keep putting in the way.. Soon we will be able to move 300 Midgardians each carrying 6 rams anywhere without being seen
Once our Runies finish the Spellcrafted Teleporter we are building In Jord...Dam forgot that was a secret Oooops

Personally I dont forsee any relic movement until the corpse summoner from 1.55 arrives. Then if you maintain a force of 50 defending Lvl10 Renaris you can keep a zerg on the Alb doorsteps almost indefinitely.

As for not caring about the relics... Some of us have been scheeming night and day against you all!
