how high rr you gotta be (or instrument total) to charm a mindworm with relative ease? ^^

With my lowbie minstrel (rr4) I have trouble keeping a lvl 50 pet charmed properly (resists pretty often). Blue con is good charm.
Red would be suicide for me, specially mindworms who will stun you
I think you need to be about 50+11+rr7 or higher to have fun with those.
It is a good thing the charm is a chant, cause being able to keep one of these with relative easy would mean buffed mindworms for sure. Surprised how few Minstrel on Excal use pets to gank opponents, specially as on vn boards they complain non stop about minstrels using pets and wtfpwning people.

Pets do rock but with only 1minstrel i can only use pets when we right in a spot with things to charm which was the case :>

Funny i allso have the mindworm figth on vids....

RR's mean A lot when charmning á red con ... i have my worm under control most of the figth.. use it to get out of mezz and stuff .. thing is when you got a charmed pet you cant do much other than DD/stun/hit...

but they was fun .. i even ran to get a new 1 when they killed my first pet.


ohh and btw ... in the figth vs atroxy (yes with the add group).... did you guys see that Atroxcy kill our 2 merc's while our cleric's go OOP healing......

dunno what to say about that beside's if albs hit a tank every scream NOOOOBBB ....

They had one of our clerics targeted during a point in the fight and then they changed from a cleric 2 the tanks. They first targeted me tried 2 kill me...got loaded with instants... they changed to Freewheeling ( Cleric)... chased him for a while and then they retargeted me again and second Sanguinary

U know the sad part? They would have won that fight if we hadnt had adds... Its sad isnt it Mids? Facts telling truth

Nice vidoes. And nice playing(from a newbie point of view).

I was in the second movie, I'm a movie star! I was the (rather cluelessly running around hitting/interrupting here and there) hammer/shield troll thane in crimson/black who was killed in the end. It was my longest fight ever where I was alive for so long. Don't know if it had helped(prolly had) with shaman and/or healer in group but was still fun

That was fun and I got myself 1 step closer to next rr.

Btw whats the 'green pulse' Ahkara had around her now and then?

think in the one beyond mmg it looked like mids had just as many adds, kinda messy fight tho

its no fun playing alb/exc no matter what you achieve or do you'll always be labeled a zerger or adding etc.

remember nick complaining about nolby on pryd being considered the best in a shit realm (rvr wise) and although BF never take/took rvr stuff quite as seriously as those guys its the same stuff on alb/exc for guilds that _try_ and rvr competetively...theres always those 2-3fg albs just over your shoulder somewhere whether you like it or not...

pretty much why i quit
