bg1 near unplayable

i enter bg1 , get zerged by no less than 5 infils on mb, so i log my bbot to stand a chance, go back to mb, see if its calmed down , andno a fucking lvl 20 alb zerg made of infils mincers and scouts (this is an exxageration) why whinge bout NS`s grouping when they fucking have to to stand a pissing chance against the noob population of alb, i havnt seen a mid for nearly 3 days its just a constant alb zerg 24/7 at 3am this morning 1fg and a half was camping mb trying to find me.

Sad....

Your a NS imagine what its like hitting the alb zerg as a non stealther class be it a stealther zerg or normal zerg landing on you. Anyway your right it is unplayable now, unless your an alb and like standing about mb for 1 rp an hour where your group shared the kill with 2 other groups of the silly mid or hib who decided to go there :( shame really used to be a laugh to :)

i spose i got the advantage of stealth, but it dont help much when infils are part of a bg1 alb grp - uncovering peeps :/ then /y spamming

I can post quite a few screenshots how Thidranki looks from a Hib POV (I am a NS too).

Today and yesterday it was abit better when I logged on for a few minutes, with actually a 'Hib zerg' (well, 13 Hibs totally in Thidranki).

ieeww not been in thid for about a week but have still 1 more rps to go, aiming for "the moment" to go there and have some fun for the last time (the moment is going there with 9.9 bubs of xp at lvl 24 and ding 25 there + stay as much as possible :p)

By the way theres been loads of mids in thid, so not sure what you mean when you said you havent seen one :/

If you cant handle thid then real rvr wont be any better for you

im not whining about bg1, bg1 is fun if u stand a chance, but 1ns VS 3fg of albs, tell me how fun that is ? and rvr is just the fekin same only with savages fully developed and CC and pbaoe etc

Was merely showing what a witch-hunt on stealthers there is ;)

Ever had 3 fg's chasing you while bashing the stealth-button :p

Also good ones: Infiltrator running unstealthed 'near the zerg' trying to find you. Once he found you he swings once (not even a style or an attempt of a style, just one unstyled swing) and calls for help ;)

I mean, sure it's a tactic and stuff.. But isn't it more fun to try and get nice 1-on-1 fights as infiltrator? You got all the tools for it (stealth, snare-poisons) and you got the edge (relics + 2.5x specpoints).

Some infiltrators solo which I think is good. I can even imagine duo'ing, alot of Mids and Hibs do that too. But running unstealthed with the zerg trying to find enemy-stealthers and then yell for help (happened quite a few times now) is just silly.

Ah well, I am enjoying myselves there every now and then when I found a spot not crowded and still a few enemies :)

Casters rarely run solo in Thidranki, atleast I didnt find many. Solo'ers are my target, other stealthers etc etc.

But sometimes you cannot find anything like that and when you see MB you know why :)

in primetime we have about 25 mids in thid INCLUDING the buffbots.. some alb told me that u guys have 50+ ppl in thid primetime. i suppose thats with all the buffbots to. but realize that neither hib or mid finds it very fun or even remotly challenging when u know theres 50+ albs (and probably half of them are infils) waiting for u at MB

both mid and hib have done some serious attempts on taking and holding CK, just to see one of 2 things happend.

1. every alb online logs his BG alt and takes it back.. last time mid lost the CK to albs i stoped counting at 67 albs VS 15ish mids. i mean.............

2. 4 am raids just because mid or hib acually by some wierd reason could keep u out of CK... (and thats extreamly rare when u have 50+ attacking)


ok i bet u like to play BG. but then i wonder WHAT is it thats so fun when u have half the freaking realm standing at MB?

i seriously cant see the fun in having such a zerg of mostly overpowered casters (sorcs boltrange mezz and dot cabalists) that even a snowball in hell stands a better chance than mid and hib does in Thid..

yes i want cheeze with this whine, and see me cry, but im dying to know...

The saddest thing about all this is that when there are even numbers, the albs cower in the CK. Its pathetic. Happend late last night, 6 mids at MB, 7 albs stand next to gate guard and they run into the CK as soon as anyone runs into range.

I used to play an alb but got pissed at the amount of RP hogs that were about and the amount of idiots that thought they were leet by killing a lone player with their 3fg

Mids seem to be albs main target, but I am seeing a decline in the amount of mids going to thid, and a large increase in Albs.

This seems to be the beginning of the end of the only BG left worth playing.

For god sake Albs give the others a chance or ya gonna end up with yet another dead BG, try splitting up, the zerg is just too big for the BGs.

To try and help cut down on the zerg problem are there any Mid players with access to /level who wanna join me in making a stealther group? If intrested please pm FatBud in game.

FYI i dont run with the zerg, i run with my group (thats 8 people) im am the healer so thats why i go with them.

only reason why albs target mids more, is because there is no hibs around.

The reason as to why albs backed away to CK when it was ene is because there was 1 tank the rest were casters, and there was no way we could go into battle with you at all.

Now go ahead and flame.

Well, what I saw was a bridge that had roughly the same crossing space as an AoE DoT.

Very effective, and good fun. And I dont doubt it takes a lot of balls to charge a keep when its defended.

I dont doubt the albs where there because, it makes sense tactically?

The fact the mids were beaten off backs up this matter I am sure.

the fact that the albs wont beat off the mids without outnumbering them 2:1 backs up the matter? or is this another "tactic" ? :p

Game balance

Lets face it - Albion alts are so damn good to play. Tis no-ones fault that places like BG1 are over-run bar for the game designers. I play as a Mid cos it is a real challenge - a practically insurmountable one really. The easy way out is to go back to Albion where i originally started playing. All them great alts you can create - Friars/Armsmen/Infs/Scouts - and so on.

The game needs balancing and perhaps seeing that there are so many Albs now it just might enter the game designer's heads that something needs to be done. But don't hold your breath!!

No, the fact that the Mids employed little tactical ingenuity or innovation that evening, and kept lining themselves up to be DoT'd and shot.

Thats a distinct lack of "tactics" isnt it?
