Turtles! Seriously, or are you baiting? Has to be one of the bottom 10 for me. The 80's cartoons had better story lines.

As @caLLous so "gallantly" put, yes i'm serious. I liked it, same feel as in the old movies and as a "kids movie" the plot was good enough to move the main thing along, namely turtles kicking ass.

They could've gone more classic, ooze and all, but meh minor details.

The Drop
Nightcrawler
Whiplash joint third with John Wick, I can do that because I have brain issues and it's allowed

Thought Foxcatcher had astounding performances in it but shat film, likewise Birdman.

Hmm Hmm

I'm gonna break the mold slightly here as I saw that nobody mentioned it but...

The Lego Movie - easily my number one just purely on a feel about the film, hilarious at parts and a through and through good film. Don't let your adult mind thing this is too much of a kids film for you, get it watched and you won't regret it. Many a critic hold it in very high esteem also.
GBH - Ralph fiennes is brilliant.
Wolf on Wall street - pretty common pick too but I thought it was brilliant.

John Wick was surprisingly awesome.

Just watched birdman. Loved it. :)

Bird thought it was, and I quote, "pretensious actor crap". :(

My lass thought it was boring as fuck.

Just got back from Whiplash, brilliant film, J.K. Simmons was fantastic.

John Wick was pretty good for a hitman revenge film.

Starred Up is a phenomenal film and quite unsettling.

Watch it at night, make sure you're not disturbed by anyone. It's quite thought-provoking and not like other prison films you may have seen.

I hadn't heard of John Wick until @ECA did a thread about it on here so thanks go to hard gay for that.

Starred Up was very good but the lad's performance in it was head and shoulders above the storyline I thought.

I used YIFY, it was a dodgy copy since I had some weird message at the start so I missed
like the wife dying and the dog getting killed
(Do you even see that?)

It's hardly a spoiler, it's like saying the Hobbit is about a Hobbit.

Yeah, I know, but it still spoils a bit of the suspense ;)

It kind of sets the tone of the film, it why he does what he, well, does

Aye, saw that the other night, also brilliant performance. He's a good actor, he was the lad in that Eden Lake wasn't he? That was good as well.
