he said RTS meaning Any Real time Strategy including ones with roleplaying parts

It's not a pure RTS, but Medieval total war rocked my world totally, must reinstall it and get the vikings expansion.

Exactly - keyword is strategy, the story behind means shite when what makes and breaks a good RTS, is how it's balanced in MPgames, not vs some gimpy AI in an even more gimpy storyline who no one really cares about
