Wish You Were Here is the best Pink Floyd Album and their best song by a very long chalk.

Prefer Shine On You Crazy Diamond but I agree that Wish You Were Here is an incredibly good Pink Floyd album and my second favourite to Dark Side of the Moon.
However, having said the above, there's just something about the later album that strikes a cord.

If I can't sleep properly I usually play Delicate Sound of Thunder, love that album and it has so many good memories for me that it instantly relaxes and sends me off to sleep if I'm stressed out.

Other favourite albums would include Phantasmagoria by The Damned, First Last and Always by Sisters of Mercy, Beautiful Wasteland by Capercaillie, The Big Wheel by Runrig, greatest hits from The Clash, The Doors, The Animals and Prokofiev's Romeo and Juliet :)

Have to agree, Dark Side of the Moon is by far my favourite album to listen to, it's just aged so well every track still sends a shiver down my spine. Favourite floyd track though is "When the Tigers broke free". Beautifully constructed song and the lyrics just make me want to cry.

Other good albums that probably havent got a bad track on them:

Pearl Jam - Ten
Soundgarden - Superunknown (soooooo good loud)
Ice Cube - Lethal Injection (I love that funky rap/george clinton crossover sound)

oh and how come noone else has mentioned The Smashing Pumpkins????

Siamese Dream and Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness are such beautiful records..
