Any tank/assasin(maybe not a critblade without getting PA off) takes out ANY friar (unless they're 24 Enhance Cleric buffed) in the BG, and yes MY friar on Albion got his ass kicked MANY MANY times in the 1st BG aswell.

Why?

BECAUSE YOU DON'T HAVE THE FRIKKING MELLEE ABSORB BUFFS!

You're wearing leather for christ sakes! Without the melee absorb you're going down VERY FAST!

And then the damage output doesn't matter, because your paper armor sucks so hard, it's 5 hits and you're dead.

Remember crush sucks against leather, but slash is the friar killer =]

I can take friar's without PA on my 5-spec SB.

Any friar coming on here claiming I will own you 1 on 1 in the first BG may publicly challenge me, or any tank, and we will see who will win.

Ps: READ I am not talking about any friars post level 24, they indeed will certainly own any tank/assasin.

Lol did your really just type NS, ROFLMO erm nightshades 1 one 1 with a Norseman SB lol you got to be having a laugh mate, when was in there with my kobbie SB i could drop NS elf or Lurkieen in one hit with PA and if that missed hand to hand fight them NP no challenge. I will admit only thing I did have problems with were Armsmen and Heros, miss Pa and well it was a close run thing normally the Armsman won or Hero, Blademasters are a joke NP with them and that was with a Kobbie Crit Blde now i got a Norseman, with a little more Con and hits should do a little better I suggest.

Ohh and for the uber gear I put gloves on (af 92 +3 Envenom) envenom my weapons then swop them back to 99% Crafted. So looks like the only piece I will have on are 92 AF boots, but looks like a Guild mate has found an old Darksteel Necklace for me, so wont even need them so will be a full set of Crafted for me I think and some nice 100% Quality weapons care of the nice Nijjese.

Testicles! I've had my friar critted by assassins whilst sitting down. SITTING DOWN! And I've always had enough health left to heal myself silly. And if they fail and I don't have to heal, they better start sprinting...

Just my own buffs with 22enhance. Today on MB, hotlikelava hit me for nearly 500 and then ran away. Tsk! One more weedy normal hit would have killed me...

I usually lose melee fights if someone else joins in, if they are buffed to the eyeballs, if I'm already injured...1on1 I can do well and if anyone joins in to help me, the target is dead soon enough even if I die two seconds before he does.

Lolm yeah right even if you land pa a tank will still tear u a new one , blademasters included. I do so love being attacked by stealthers with my merc. Only time ive been killed by em is if im low on health after a previous fight. For someone who has played a sb before you sure dont know your class very well. Tank killer lol

(remembers in Emain when i went to suicide my 41 merc and a lvl50 NS hit me, somehow i got a side atack style off, slowed him down. put fumbles on him and proceeded to pound his ass down. if only the other 3 NS's did all crit me at the same time i would have won )

Don't need to stun when they die in 3 nukes. Waste of power. Stun uses a massive amount of power - about 2 nukes worth. I rarely stun while xping - tends to be quicker to just kite mobs.
