Anyone see the opening episode? Bloody good in my opinion, looks like this is going to be a good series.

It's not showing in the uk atm, started in the us on friday, along with the new stargates.

Cracking series, at last I've got something to download again, along with family guy!

WTF? America first?

BAN.
Unfortunatley I believe the SCI-FI channel nicked it off of Sky One, so America first this time. Although there are rumours that the SCI-FI channel may be picking up Firefly for a second season if the film does well. So we can't be to unkind to them ;)

Battlestar is a SCI-FI US/Sky co-production. Apparently Sky want to show it in one continuous run, whereas sci-fi want to show it as they normally do in the US (lots of repeats between new episodes), hence I think we wait until january to watch it. Last year we got it first because they had a specific time of the year they wanted to show it in the US.

Watched the 2nd show in the new series last night

Given the body count aren't they now fucked? Theres only 4,000 people in the whole fleet yet seems like they lost hundreds of the key Military people in one action.

Great new series though.

Well they are also training new personel from the civilian part of the survivors, at least fighter pilots, as was shown in season 1. Guess they will recruit more now. Although im not sure there were actually that many casualties

And yes, great series :)

the storey line is progressing very nicely in the second series, I'm really enjoying it.

I thought the last one wasn't as good as the previous ones. The whole doing a documentary on the ship idea sucked a bit. I wish they would get rid of Tigh's 2D wife, shes a bit boring.

Am I the only one who thinks the first series was too slow? The only progress was made in season finale!

Season 2 has been a little faster, but it still lacks content.

Season 2 of Stargate: Atlantis is pretty poor aswell, they're addicted to "running out of time to cure this virus" type episodes.

Well...it's a sci fi show, very few unique and decent plot lines exist!

I love the fact they used the original music for the documentray :)

With the original Apollo in the storyline, how long till we see Dirk Benedict turn up?

Oh lord, let it happen. :D
