Anyone else picking this one up?

http://www.play.com/play247.asp?page=title&r=R2&title=158617

The amount of cartoon releases recently is staggering. Visionaires, Dungeons and Dragons box set is out in september, Invader Zim (Only from the states so far), Ulyses(sp?) 31, transformers, etc..

I think a lot of is it is being released by Fix Kids, so kudos to them. I'm just waiting for a proper release of Thundercats on DVD now.

For now I'll just have to make do with my own versions. :D

Started me collecting of these last month, so far I have Fraggle Rock, Visionaries, Defenders of the earth and the first disc of Dungeons & Dragons with the 2nd on order :)

Oddly it's cheaper to buy the D&D sets separately than in the box set.

There's 4 sets at £9.99 on play and the box set is £29.99. Where are you getting them so that it works out cheaper to buy speerately?

... I was only aware of the 2 box sets, since for the longest time only 2 were listed and the complete series was at £22.99 w/ 2 discs. It's all changed now to 4 box sets and the complete set being put to 4 discs.

DAMN YOU PLAY FOR MISLEADING MEH :(

edit: On a side note, Visionaries is #5 on the top ten sellers list

I agree, filling the English versions of Battle with zark in order to keep the length the same, while losing all the violence, was a travestiy. Still, the series holds a special place in my heart in it's original, cut down way.

I bought battlestar galactica though. Does that count?

Maybe I'll get this series if I feel I have nothing else to buy.

Of course that counts. I even went as far as to buy the big face mask version of the Battlestar box set and was very dissapointed when I found that the eye section didn't have a moving led in there. Thinking of making my own now.

For some reason I don't remember ever seeing this cartoon which is odd cause all I did was watch cartoons when I was younger (ok I still do) looking at play I see they are releasing M.A.S.K. in August, I loved that cartoon I still have 3 of the vechiles from it in the loft.

Saw the ad for Ulysses 31 today in games™ mag. Used to watch that religously, but I missed the final episode ffs, something which has still irked me to this day.

BTW: I have the first series boxset of BotP - it's the crappy Americanised version, not the proper version that was imported from Japan then dubbed.

Edit: See Whipped knows this too - I don't read entire threads, that just takes up too much TIME!

:/

I used to have the last few episodes on VHS (taped off telly) but my brother taped over em with shitty Channel 5 tit-films

The last ep was OK iirc but the one just before where he goes back in time to meet the ORIGINAL Ulysses at the end of The Odyssey was bestest :)
