That isn't what I said.

This might help you.

Nick JR. Ready-To-Read Boxed Set: Learn to Read with Dora and Friends! With 3 Bookmarks Ready-to-Reads: Amazon.co.uk: Various: Books

Also do let me know when you get the achievement unlock for swinging from your 10,000 gargoyle or your "Ventilator" title for ingeniously bypassing the 4000th locked door by using an air duct.

Shouldn't be a problem at all for you if you put yourself through Wolfenstein anyone who goes through that game deserves some sort of award.

I believe you said you enjoyed it more then hl ep 1/2 how you did that is beyond me. Also you said finding the tomes etc was very fun for you I lost interest in finding the tomes after I tried to a find a veil pool for the 1000th time to recharge the crappy powers.

You must have had a lot of fun doing that repetition so climbing through a few air ducts/swinging from statues won't be a problem for you at all.

You then asked for anyone who has played the game to confirm your not a loon, I'll answer your question, your are a fucking LOON if you thought that game was fun it's by all accounts probably one of the worst sequels ever made the fact the entire multiplayer development team got laid off the day the game released speaks volumes. I've played thr multiplayer and that is even worse then thr single player it's that horrible.

Lets add it all up here the general player base so far loves Batman and rates it very highly you won't find too many complaints about it on many forums.

The general player base fucking hate Wolftenstein hell go on any forum it won't take a few blinks to start seeing the rage the players have for iD fucking up one of the greatest games ever.

You really need to learn to accept that not everyone shares your views. Stop being a rabid fanboi for everything you like.

It's not surprising you like a one button mashemup when you confuse words such as enjoy and better, cant reply to a post in the correct forum and assumed the new wolf was going to have any significant multiplayer focus.

It also TRULY shocks me to find that Batman fans enjoy a Batman game.

You wouldn't get too far smashing one button but then again most of the people that didn't like Batman were the ones who thought it was about bashing one button.

All I said regarding Batman was Bleeeeeeeeh.

I don't think it deserves anything like 9/10, it's the usual "give the big publishers nice scores and keep it sweet" deal.

We'll see how repetitive the combat mechanic is tomorrow :)

I may eat my words once I've played it through.

If the demo was a random hero and non-specific villains though would you really expect it to get more than a 2/10?

The only really nice thing was the fluid combat mechanics vs multiple enemies, apart from that distinctly minty munty.

So you are buying it then? For me I like the environment they have created and it's a dark Batman game with obviously the insane baddies giving it a touch of humour now and then.

The reviews are spot on if it was a case of paying everyone off then I'm sure the people who have actually bought the game would be expressing their rage too. Not everyone who buys this game is going to be a diehard comic book nerd. I've never seen anything of Batman except the movies and the odd cartoons so if the game was shit I'd have no problem saying so.

But hey everyone has their own opinion, if you have a decent pc wait for that version since it's a lot cheaper.

By FAR one of the best games this year. Ive never read a comic in my life that i remeber and dont normally care for superhero stuff so i had no bias. Everything just works so well and i would advise anyone to buy or atleast rent it.

Best game i played this year so far, i couldn't put it down up until i got 100% on everything it was THAT good, the fighting is awesome, graphically it's very nice to look at the level of detail in everything is incredible and the story was pretty well written.

Are we playing diff games? I'm playing with an open mind, but I could literally AFK in the middle of a level for eight hours and come back and be fine.

Combat - ridiculously easy no challenge.
Movement system - the grappling hook is kinda cool still but there isn't a section that requires precision leet grappling to avoid getting pwned and it makes it way too easy to beat the weaponed bad guys, just bash one, grapple, bash another - any pretence at having any depth to this "stealth" requirement is ridiculous.

It also annoys me seeing secret bits I cant access because I dont have the right upgrade yet.

Just done the scarecrow drugged section.

Does it get any better or is it like this throughout? ( and lol @ my prediction of using vents to bypass locked doors being repetitive lol, they even re-used the gas>restart fans mechanic in two different sections already ).

Where the game is special is the fluid combat system even if it's not very in depth it is very very fluid for this kind of game, as well as the cutscenes and acting - they are all very well done.

I could have asked the very same question in your first sentence about Wolftenstein, what are you getting at exactly?

You didn't like the demo but you went ahead and bought the full game anyway? Weird.

I'm a bit disappointed with the Batman game. It plays like a series of mini games and the focus is too narrow, you are forced to go one route. Would have been much better to have had a more open game with different tasks to perform in whatever order you saw fit too.

The production values are excellent though and I am enjoying the story. I'd like Harley Quinn to kill me a bit more often please...

But ECA critisisms are not fair this time. You can go afk in anygame and come back later and be alive if u afk in a safe place. You cant AFK in sight of mobs in batman because u will die just same as any other game. The game isnt the hardest ever but on Hard mode its still challengeing imo. Ofc some parts are repetitive but thats just the nature of the beast in most games of this type. Its no more repetitive than any other similiar style game tho. It is much longer than most third person action/stealth games and has far more secrets/things to find to keep you occupied. It ofc wont appeal to everyone but its getting 9+ scores all over the place for good reasons.

Uh pretty sure the pirated versions updated their cracks and made new ones once they found out about this and it's already bypassed.

Just read through this thread. Haven't played the game and won't try it either.

But it is a lot of fun reading Aada's post. How someone can be so fanboyish over a game is beyond me.

Aye, its just another consolesque bit of rubbish, maybe worth a try if you are really bored and see it for a couple of £ in the bargain bin. Don't bother paying full price though.

Heh, to each their own I guess. I think it's an absolutely fantastic game - really very well made indeed. Fantastic fight dynamics, not too short, real *Batman* feel to it. Overall just really good fun, I'd be happy to pay full price for it but I'm happier that I paid £16 for it from Zavvi on PC :).

My 2 cents:

Very enjoyable game, not the hardest but extremely rewarding, incredibly polished and atmospheric.

The combat is deeper than it seems at first, just try some of the tougher challenge rooms. Yes, you can complete pretty much play the whole game just bashing "hit" in the same way you can play through Half-Life using only the pistol....

Snarks are the only way to beat Half Life :(
