Looking like a candidate for game of the year Gamesmaster scored it a 96% saying it rivaled Bioshock for creating one of the best gaming environments they have ever seen.

I think this is one game i will definatly get for the PC as i hope the graphics will be better as in Bioshock.

I'm *very* hopeful for this one, also given that it's the UT3 engine I'm hoping it'll be a solid port.

Looks cracking good fun, and I'm less pessimistic given that Wolverine was such a good laugh too. Superhero ports on to PC don't always have to be total shit.

Not a big fan of 3rd person games generally but this looks very good indeed.

The GM score is a big old fix, the company (Eidos Interactive I think) have in the past paid for Tomb Raider to get a better review than it deserved. An employee, presumed to be part of there marketing team, has even admitted on his blog that he has seen the emails for bribes and such.

I've seen magazines offer the big Developer and Publisher names scores for benefits, including cheaper advertising space and 'free weekends' at big gaming conventions.

Sad truth really, I canceled my magazine deals once I started hearing the bad things they did.

Still looks great, but would imagine its coser to 7/10 or 75/80%

I'm fully expecting this to be a totally shallow, short game and almost certainly not going to be worth of the 96% that GM gave it. That won't stop me though, it still looks like a laugh and should be well worth the 25 quid Amazon are charging for it.

I was pretty hyped until i read this i just hope a few other reputable gaming sites give it a good score to keep this on my preorder list.

I thought the demo was too simple really. I'll be getting chaos theory instead.

Good graphics and sound but it seems they give us that instead of a decent game.

Please don't tell me you were mashing X throughout the entire demo? :(

I enjoyed the demo, thought it was a little too easy but that didn't detract from the combat just being enjoyable - it's also well acted and has great stylisation. I hear very good things about the Riddlers section in the game and look forward to seeing what that's all about.

Seconded, i really like the amount of detail they have put into the game as well kinda reminds me of Bioshock and how awesome Rapture was.

I'm just downloading the PC demo atm my PC destroys the game's recommended requirements but that doesn't mean shit these days, if the demo plays well i will defo get it for the PC however if i get dodgy fps drops i won't bother with the hassle.

It's got a solid engine - if you've got a halfway decent machine you'll be able to run it at max everything fine. The only thing that might trip it up is PhysX and even then, it's only when floor tiles break. Fabrics, volumetric fog etc is all fine.

My card is ATi so i'm worried PhysX might not get a long with it.

Oh, then there's no problem - PhysX doesn't work on ATI cards fullstop afaik, so it'll be disabled. You won't miss much though, it's just a few fancy effects that aren't that special.

I've read that, but none of the retailers seem to have updated their release dates. Hmm.
