Well, yeah.. Although Rob was probably at his peak a long time ago with the Infectious Grooves project. The first album of which is superb :)

I saw Infectious Grooves support Megadeth in LA in '92, Rob's bass playing was superb...I still remember him playing 'Immigrant Song' as a slap bass riff...

Seems to me that Svart is the only one who can seem to differentiate between a solo and a fancy riff.

Solo's are lenghtly improvisations based on the key of the song afaik.

Well as a musician, I didn't find that anything special either. It's just a random shred, not bad but nothing fancy.

I got to see Steve Vai live in Antwerp last year. Now every member in the band are just amazing musicians. Billy Sheenan's bass solo was roxxor my soxxor.
