For more info about what this is about:

Basically, ASUS is screwing just about every online gaming community in order to try to get sales. They are screwing their market, but I guess if people don't sign petitions or raise a stink, they won't give a shit.

Bear in mind that they did this once before and public outcry forced them to remove these "features" from later drivers. Looks like they tried to sneak them back in, now it's up to the online communities again.

Fools

I can't think of one good reason for having these cheats.

I also went to the Asus web site and gave them a bollocking there. Or tried to; they have an online magazine, and the feedback Email address they provided doesn't work, strange that innit.

No way, why should i sign it? pointless imho. To me there are far more damaging things in certain online games than these drivers:p and people see them as legal:) I know these are a killer for CS, but in just about every other game, they would have little effect. Plus the fact in CS, if you didn't have these drivers around, somebody would just find another way to cheat anyway.

Kinda defeatist attitude there. Besides, it's the principle. ASUS should not be encouraging cheating should they ? :/

yeah i get kinda defeatist when i see the same noob pull a perfect grenade jump every time:(. but seriously are asus actually encouraging cheating? imho People who want to cheat will cheat:(

Sure it will encourage it. Some n00b gets an ASUS vid card, tries it out, finds he's winning, decides he likes cheating but would never have gone to the trouble of finding them. Finding cheats is not something your average AOL'er could do very easily but if they come with the card :)
