Bainshee Bomb Group

Posted this on the NFD forums, but want as many people to see this as possible as a lot of people no longer play live:

Hey guys, like many of you I am also bored of what live has to offer at the moment, which is why I propose to run a bainshee bomb group just for the lols. We will need a bard, druid, mentalist, and five bainshees.

bard - xxx
druid - xxx
mentalist - xxx
bainshee- Warren
bainshee - durrrr
bainshee - xxx
bainshee - xxx
bainshee - xxx

Will play a couple days a week, and probably a sunday if people are around because there are always so many zergs on a sunday. Not really interested in fg v fg action, just zerg bombing.

I'd be up for it if need on either ment or bain, they bain is a lowbie tho so prolly ment. I'd respec for grp as not playing it atm.

To get the correct hits your bard will have to be on his game and a spybot stuck to alb/mid bg and or a spybot in their vent is a must so it's not just hit and miss

Mana should do it, although reckon ST1 would be long enough at 10s b4 they die or move out. WP9 or as high as poss for the 100% crits on the DoTs.

If people I know are around, I'll put myself down for reserve Druid, don't know why put this has peaked my interest.

EDIT : Reserve due to sporadic play times if I was to renew.

2 bards is also nicer with caster group, only thing you lose really is the twf for bombing




make a mid bomb group imo, much nicer, 2 healer sham skald 3 warlock, bd, ae stun, pbaoe chambers with 4 ml8 bl bombs and twf, ill even respec for ae dot ;P


p.s. looking through some old fraps footage and got some OF footage with your warrior retal!

Since the bainshee bolt nerf, you're actually not the first one to mention making a Mid bomb group instead. Who else would be up for that instead? I wouldn't want it to be a regular group to the extent that's all everyone plays. I'd be happy to play the bomb group once or twice a week just to break up the monotony that is known as daoc at the moment.

I'm not too sure of the group setup though, is 2 healer, sham, skald, 3 locks, and 1 bd a typical bomb setup? What about removing the shaman for an extra lock?

You'd want shaman for end / rebuff / sheer / dottage!

although i am bias i listed bd because of twf and banelord bomb, mauler doesnt really offer anything but twf?

in the prydwen nf days used to make random groups, 2 healer sham, then as many banelords as possible (which made forming a group easy). No matter who we got we did well fg and zerg farming, especially for a random group. usually had an rm/supp sm for ae if there was a zerg out keep taking etc, when zerg rushes, all ml8 bomb, twf and ae the crap out of everything, even though all banelords but me were tanks still managed to wipe large numbers

Maulers got a aoe root that are unbreakable for 15 seconds or so, this is why bomb groups use it.

Let's make a mid bomb group with the above setup then. Not fussed if we have more than eight people interested because it will be rare that all eight will be online together to be honest, and if they do, we can just run a side-cart. I'm not interested in playing fairly, just interested in getting RPs from zergs as much as possible.

My mate Durrr wants to play a warlock, but I'm happy with playing whatever, just want to rip zergs. In fact the only thing I won't play is a pac healer because I'm not good enough for that, anything else I'll play.

If this interests you then sign up. And remember, I don't expect people to cancel anything else they play. I'll be more than happy with running this group one night a week for a few hours.

ive got a shaman temped and ready... i also have rr9 SM though... is a supp sm really that obsolete in comparison with a WL?.. or a rr5 RM to debuff matter if it ends up to killing people 1by1... might renew then for this.
