Oh aye, no lil me's running about thank you. I''ve been thinking about it, might as well 'cause i'm not interested.

Then again, why should i :D

Yeah, proving a point isn't a sane reason to go through a medical procedure :p

I was curious.

Very quick and easy procedure for Mr Russell (I watched -it was fascinating) and he rode his bike to work 2 days after.

We do -we take the blame and the shame everyday -thats what parents do...

hehe this really really cute looking little kid in the library the other week and she ran right in the middle of the library and says in the really loud clear voice

"Mummy.... I Need To Do A Poo!" rofl the mother looked so mortified it was hillarious, i dunno why she was embarrassed tbh i mean the kid was just stating a fact but aw god it was so funny the way she (the kid) looked all prim and proper when she said it hehe

I generally understand that babies cry and all that but I do get annoyed when a child is having a good old paddy and the parent (not just mothers, fathers are just as good at it) ignores them, i mean if it was me i'd be horrified and get the kid out of the building asap its obviously pissed off about something and i know they say "ooh just ignore it and they'll stop eventually" but you do need to be a bit considerate of other folk (I'm talking about in the middle of a library or something where people are working. It can't be good for the kid to be screaming and going like that.

as for breast feeding, we encourage it in the library and mums are made to feel as comfortable as possible while doing it (though i do get a bit embarrassed going to shelve while a womans got her booby out, no one ever died from being embarrassed did they) the kid has to eat and thats that.

and as people have pointed out babies cries were designed to be the most irritating sound ever or else we'd have gone extinct long ago, i mean if it didn't wake up mama caveman in the night we'd have starved to death lol.

Thing is, pandering to a small child's every whim when it throws a wobbler just reinforces that behaviour and that can count towards the child growing up to be a a bit shitface.

Unfortunately, it just happens. Looking foreward to our "pet" baby growing up.

I'm going to start calling her The Project, lol
