automatic update of HAL during sysprep

hello guys

where im working at i need to come up with a solution for making images over a wide variety of computers platforms, so i need something that can automatically update the HAL file in the operation system for me during? sysprep so it wont fail when i switch platform.

would anyone know a script you can run or a line you can put in sysprep ?
and im not talking about the :

[Unattended]
UpdateHAL = "(MPS_MP or ACPIAPIC_MP),%windir%\inf\hal.inf"

i need something where you dont have to go into the file and change it every time you need to put the image in a diffrent platform.
