It's one of the only original MMO's in development with a serious budget (discounting indie vaporware like D&L or Dark Fall that will probably never get released functionally) so a lot of people longing for something else then yet another take on EQ are praying for AA to turn out right.anyone know if its worth my time downloading the client and registering my acc etc?

The devs are extremely responsive, the community is good, the crafting is fun when you get your head round it and the quests are quite cute in their own way. There's a very positive vibe from the alpha testers.
