Read, check, suggest, re-write whatever.

Cheers

Mey

For quite some time now, I have held a strong passion for entering into a career in the police force; in preparation for a career in this area I decided to study criminology in order to enhance my knowledge and understanding of criminal behavior. I feel the next logical step is to gain some practical experience in the area, something that I believe I will gain from being a special constable. I feel that this opportunity will provide me with a fantastic chance to confirm and grow this desire.

I have always been active within my community and have participated, as well as help organise, numerous activities. One particular experience remains strongly at the forefront of my mind, during my time at college I was involved in a volunteer bereavement-counselling program, which was conducted via email for young people, this was the first real commitment, other than work and college, that I took on and it showed me the value and reward of giving my time to help others. I see joining the special constabulary as the next step in giving my time to volunteer work.

Personal integrity and trustworthiness are qualities that I value highly, and are among some of the primary qualities that I feel a police office should show, I feel that I not only hold this qualities but display them, both, in my social life and work as a cashier and customer service assistant at Lloyds TSB bank.

Understanding the needs of the customer is something which is vital for my role in Lloyds TSB bank; this is a skill, which I believe is not only transferable to the work of a special constable but is equally as vital in order to provide a service which is compassionate, fair and effective.

The special constabulary provide a unique link between the community and the police force and I feel that it is a role I will fit perfectly into.

Handy tip: smashing together two sentences with a semi-colon makes the baby jesus cry.
It seems to be a little dis-jointed in places, I think you should make a list of what you want to say in short bullet format and for what purpose (demonstrate people skills, illustrate previous experience, point out that I am not a racist but I'm a quick learner).
Assemble these points so they tell a story in a logical order (progression is important). You want it to be clear, easy to read with all the key information you want someone else know in order that you be noticed.

My personal statement for Uni was epic! Its the reason I got on the course with 3 subjects one grade lower than what they wanted. My tutor (admin tutor also) told me so! lol xD

Shame I dropped out of that then changed to Criminology lol!

The probability of bullshit in a personal statement reduces its real value considerably compared with a face to face interview and some cunning questioning.

I didn't remove anything except the redundant "in this area" bit in the first paragraph. Fixed a spelling error where you had "this" instead of "these", and rebuilt the mega long sentence in the second paragraph. Plus some other minor fixes. Didn't add or change anything either, since I don't know exactly what this special constabulary thing is. It sounds like it's a volunteer work with no pay though, looking at the last sentence of the second paragraph.

4 quite some time now, ive held a strong passion for entering into a career in the police force!!!!!!!!!!!1111111!!!!!!!!. IN PREPERATION for a career in this area, I decided to study criminology !!111! in order to enhance my knowl3dge3 and understanding of criminal behavior. I f33l the next l33t step is to gain some practical XP, something that I believe I will gain from being a special constable level 50 RR10L10. I feel that this opportunity will provide me with a fantastic chance to confirm and grow a new beard.

I have always been active within the FH community and have participated, as well as help organise, numerous activities (like when we raided teh studfenr room). One particular experience remains strongly at the forefront of my mind. During my time at FH I was involved in a volunteer n00b13 re-education program, which was conducted via email for n00bs. This was the first real commitment, other than DAoC and porn, that I took on and it showed me the value and reward of giving my time to help others. I see joining the special constabulary as the next step in giving my time to help teh noobs.

Personal intelliegence, charisma, strength and constitution are qualities that I value highly, and are among some of the primary qualities that I feel a police office should be buffed with. I feel that I not only hold these qualities but display them; both in my FH life, and work as a cashier and customer service assistant at Lloyds TSB bank.

Understanding the needs of the n00b is something which is vital for my role on FH. This is a skill which I believe is not only transferable to the work of a special constable, but is equally as vital in order to provide a service which is compassionate, fair and effective.

The special constabulary provides a unique link between the community and the police force and I feel that it is a role I will fit perfectly into.

Precisely, part of the 'suck your way to the top' strategy made famous by Monica Lewinsky... well, that is if she was more like a Dyson.

"Join" and "the police" force are words that every father dreads hearing, almost as bad as "dad i've decided to support man u"

seriously, the police force is a good career choice if thats your bag and want to put something back into the community.....

go for it.
