I still reckon the GeFarce3 Ti 200 is by far the best buy.

You could pay £110 more for a Ti500 for a little extra performance, pay <?> more for the Radeon 8500 where they fudge the drivers so much you may as well play in 640x480 with a really high AA.

me? I think I'll wait until September b4 I upgrade me 1G athlon and GeFarce1 DDR - I'll be getting a .13micron Athlon XP 2600+ and a GeFarce4 for less than I'd pay for a Ti500 now

really on a gf2 ur toppin 100fps...nice. me personally im going for the radeon 8500 only highend card out right now that supports dual monitors...other than a few cards that are out that are in the thousands of dollars like the wildcat series.

I'd try and look for a plain old vanilla G3 first. You can still find them and they are much better... the Ti200 is bottom of the pile "spec" wise., the old G3 is middle and the Ti500 is top doggeh

id like to go for 2 19 or 21 inch flat tfts personally but that will never happen...too much money. So ill probably just set up 2 19 inch crts.

You're talking crap or have a 400 Mhz processor

I average 67fps with everything maxed in Q3A with a 1Ghz athlon and a GeForce1 DDR.

NO WAY can you tell me that a GeFarce3 Ti 200 won't push 130 on my system (MINIMUM)

I'd expect it to be 150-180 really....

I havent got a geforce 3 Ti 200! got a radeon 64 DDR. I would go for a standard G3 or G3 Ti 500.

The results were form a harware review!



So I dont know if they are correct!!! But I know that a TI200 will pale in comparison to a Ti500 of 8500

I wouldnt go for the ti 200. The standard gf3 is better if u dont want to spend the money on a gf3 ti 500 or radeon 8500.

just read a bit of the earlier part of this thread.60 fps on q3 with a gf3-200?? thats far more to do with the processor m8.i got 115 @ 800-600 on the regular q3 demo with my old gf2mx.now i get the same with the 200.only at 1024-768
