Artifacts in next patch?

I have heard that in the next patch when they bring in all the changes to the way artifacts work, ie you just need credit and the scrolls, that you will be able to trade in an unactivated artifact for a set of scrolls, anyone know if this is true and if so are there any patch notes etc confirming it?

this is just rumors and specualtions made by ppl here on fh, most probibly all artifacts will become useless with 1.81 patch

Yes it's true; unactivated artis can be exchanged for a full book of scrolls.

This is not the same as on US servers, where they got plats per artifact traded in.

it does also specify that arts can be handed in for a reduced amount of plat though, i personally am looking forward to trading a pair of scalars that cost me 100g for a MT book

Either you can sell them to any NPC for a modest price,
less than the actual market price, or you can go to the Capital city
of your realm and trade it against the complete book corresponding to the artefact.

Please note that there will not be any rare scrolls with this version.
So, while these books will certainly be very useful to those who wish to
activate an artefact they've ben storing, they won't have any significant trade value.

meaning every scrolls has a pretty much equal drop chance, and that drop chance is like a hundred times better then it is now

which by the way is bollocks, there are still rare scrolls in 1.81, and i can say after playing us that although most scrolls are reduced, there are still some rare ones that will cost you a bundle. (mt 2/3 and ls 2/3 are 2 that spring to mind), which is why i like goas idea, a massive influx of various arti books will make them cost next to nothing

Was just about to say this myself. Its not THAT easy to get the currently hard scrolls. They still take a while. Dont get the impression that you can kill 3 mobs and get a Love Story book etc. It took me a good 4-5 hours to get the books I needed, of constant farming. But its definitely a lot easier.

Yes, as stated in eggy's link. However scrolls will be a lot easier to farm also, so don't go spending 10p on some arti just because its scrolls would cost 11p atm
