Im playing fine, no probs here.
Patcher problem is the message I get but how to fix if others are playing is beyond me
It is still broken but there is a work around which means changing the DNS to :
1: 208.67.222.222
2: 208.67.220.220
If you don't know how to do this for vista you do the following:
1) Go to start -> control panel -> network and sharing center.
2) On the right hand side, go to manage network connections.
3) Right click on active Local Area Network connection -> properties.
4) From there, click on Internet Protocol Version 4(TCP/IPv4) -> and then hit the properties tab.
5) Click on the tab for "Use the following DNS server addresses" and type the DNS ip's beneath.
6) Click OK.
Probably a good idea to flush the DNS as well after:
start -> run -> cmd ->
Then type: ipconfig /flushdns
Works for me anyway.
You might be advised as that solution has permanently redirected your DNS lookup away from whatever servers your ISP intended. There may well be nothing wrong with those new DNS servers but you really might want to consider NOT redirecting your DNS lookup in this way as the potential for "Bad" things to happen is enormous.that is fantastic and works for me. Do I need to change anything back when O2 sort the problem out?
