As re; theories - many of Science's theories have not been proved and will not be proved in the foreseeable future. Thus they are not true.
so by this logic, it must also your belief that any sort of god is equally improbable.
Oh look! Gorbachio being a fuck in 2006!

For me, the idea of a universe being created that can perfectly support our life's is hard to think of. For thousands upon thousands of variables to all become exact breeding amounts for us is incomprehensible. Ofcourse, scientists combat this with the 'Multiple Life Theory' - the idea that each universe supports a different breed of life (aka. aliens) through the variables that have mixed together. Thus, we are in fact a product of the variables and not vice versa. However, we have no ability to travel to other universes and will not have so for hundreds of years presumably - so this theory cannot be proved.
With that in mind, why do people put all their sense into science. Science works on the assumption that everything builds together perfectly. If everything builds together perfectly, then either we're extremely fkin fortunate people or there's some pre-determined way to the world.

So if we dont know something then just make up a story to explain it.
Yeah.... good idea.
And again, science doesnt offer truths, just the most likely option.
You're an ass.
I've always felt that there's no harm in believing.
If there's nothing, you won't notice.
If there is, well, you'd be glad to believe.
The real b*tch comes if you chose the wrong belief
"What, i'm dead, no valhalla? Oh the christian heaven...ack...can i have another go?"
Sadly thats not true. Yeah if you only believe in a god and nothing else then its not harmful. But if you think about how much damage christianity and islam have done then that is hardly true.

yeah but he is all forgiving apparently.
This is called "Pascal's Wager" and it seems a little odd to me...surely any God worth his salt would see through this fence-sitting? It's not like belief is really a conscious choice, you either do or you don't.

So your only problem with me believing in something is that someone somewhere once might have done something bad in it's name?
So if i don't do any holocaust or mass murdering in valhallas name, i can believe in private without you shoving "stupid moron" down my throat?
Harmless and stupid are two different things. Bugz is harmless, but would anyone here say that he is smart?
Believing in valhalla is stupid, but harmless in your case i guess. If you say so, i'll believe you -,-

I wouldn't try the 'who's smarter' game buddy - for your sake![]()
