Very subjective.

Half of those I would not do even if I could.

Edit

50. Spend time with children in swimwear even if they aren't yours

some of those seem to cancel each other out or form a feedback loop. that aside, I have done a lot of them and I don't do some of them often enough.

I don't have kids and I'm not old and I'm single so I can't forfill some of them. Also, having kids or being married are not featuring very high in my personal goals so I doubt I'll ever get to all of them :)

Who came up with that list?
Some 14 year old with no life experience?
And if you don't score well, you're what? A failure?

IMO if you're over 35 and can get out of a bean-bag chair without making a funny noise, you win.

who labeled that specific noise as funny? what noise is it, exactly?
what if I can't make the noise to that precise specification, I'm what? A failure?

14. Travel to at least 25 different foreign countries
34. Travel alone

I want to do these. I've only been to 8 different countries. I think I'd enjoy travelling alone once I got into it but it would be really weird to begin with.

If I lost a stone in weight my doctor wouldn't be happy. But then apparently I shouldn't worry about what he thinks.

Look, there's only one way to settle this. Post of vid of you getting out of a bean-bag chair. Your mates here on FH will then determine if you suck or win. If you suck, you have to cook everyone steaks and chicken. Deal?

I was interested to see the response. I read it in the Metro this morning and found myself criticising the logic of the survey more than its content and realised I'm really not the target audience for this kind of thing, and that I really need to get out more. Which is ironic as that's number 15. As it turns out I've done about 35 of them at one time or another, but the problem is it seems to be implying you have to do them all at once, which seems a tad impossible.

I don't understand how you can "Score" yourself? Is it one point for things on there you've already done?

16 then I guess?

I find your proposition biased more to the sucking than to the undoubted roaring success. Therefor I refuse your terms and propose the following: if my efforts FAIL to amuse the populace I will send you a box full of traditional Dutch cookies, the so-called Stroopwafels, enough to last you at least 30 minutes. If my efforts DO amuse the populace, you will consume NO PIG BASED PRODUCTS for one week.

What a random list, most of that I have no interest in doing anyway, really subjective list.

The answer to the question, for me, is No.

I'd like to sample a variety of lifestyles but the world's carved up into little fifedoms that mean I'd be obstructed if I tried. The question should be "If you buy into a "normal western lifestyle" - are you living it to the full" :)

All lives are unique - full is subjective and often seems to be the same list created by marketing departments in order to sell products like package holidays and fast cars.

Many people travel but never leave their own comfort zone (Yanks are a great example of this).

1. Stop worrying about money < Spend money good little consumer
2. Stop worrying about what other people think < selfishness
3. Take two holidays a year < buy product
4. Enjoy little comforts in life < buy product
5. Experience different cultures < buy product
6. Work to live rather than live to work <platitude
7. Pay off all debts <odd one
8. Be true to yourself < platitude
9. Concentrate on what you have instead of what you don't have <platitude - good for social cohesion - keeps them in their place
10. Use money on experiences rather than saving for a rainy day < buy product
11. Make time for family and friends < platitude
12. Try all types of food < buy product
13. Find true love < platitude
14. Travel to at least 25 different foreign countries < buy product
15. Go outside more < platitude
16. Learn a new language < buy product
17. Be well thought of by family and friends < platitude contradicts earlier platitude
18. Help a member of your family out when they really need it < platitude
19. Lose a stone in weight < buy product
20. Treat eat day like it's your last < buy product
21. Visit all of Britain's historical landmarks < buy product
22. Book an impulsive last minute holiday < buy product
23. Volunteer for a good cause < for selfish reasons
24. Take up a challenge < platitude
25. Go on safari < buy product
26. Blow a load of money in one shopping trip, just because you can < buy product
27. Learn a new instrument < buy product
28. Be married for longer than 20 years < platitude
29. Have enough money left for the grandchildren to enjoy < buy insurance product :p
30. Start a family < buy baby products

I work at most 150 days a year in a job that takes me around the world, sometimes working very short days (sometimes long). I get to meet all kinds of interesting people. The 200 other days, I do whatever I like. And the money is good.

Not exactly to the full, but I ain't complaining.

I want to do these. I've only been to 8 different countries. I think I'd enjoy travelling alone once I got into it but it would be really weird to begin with.

81 countries and counting. 23 years of working in Aerospace. Mostly travel alone and some trips were up to a year long. 1 year Oman, 4 months Malaysia, 3 Months China, 3 Months Hong Kong, 3 Months Singapore, 1 month Brazil.......Also lived with my family in UAE for past 10 years.

Traveling when you have to do it soon gets boring. Only country I have not been to that I really want to go to is Madagascar.

Scored 29 but then I am an old git.
