i ordered a new sound system for my car last sunday. turns out the subwoofer box was out of stock and should of come in yesterday. turns out now they wont come untill tuesday so i wont get my stuff untill wednesday. that is a bonus though as i will be working untill wednesday and if it was sat at home id be itching to get the fuck out of work and fit it in.

when i buy something i want it 3 days ago. sadly all the cheapest stuff is online

on this subject though, anyone fitted an amp in their car? how difficult did you find it feeding the power cable through from the battery?

I feel for you man, took 'em almost three weeks to sort out my motherboard, after the first showed up screwed. Second one, screwed, third one, screwed. Turns out the stack of them was destroyed in the warehouse and no-one reported it, so they where shipping them damaged. Three weeks later, I walk into PCWorld to get one direct (was looking for a specific board).

Waiting for stuff when you have everything else is just torture.

As for the wiring of an amp, my cousin tried once, and found out that if your car doesn't have enough room to maneuver around with, the first step is to NOT remove the engine and get the drill out.

After he almost chocked to death on fumes, his dad patched up the hole with expanding foam and sold it to some numb bastard in Limerick.

The lesson is "Power tools, bright idea's and alcohol do not mix."

Depends, wiring the whole thing is bloody iritating, taking off panels etc to run it all through to the battery.
Just get halfords or something to do it lol

my dad is good at fitting shit and doing technical things.
my stuff finally arrived today 2 weeks late/ not what i ordered either...


its better than the stuff i paid for. got a 12" sub instead of a 10". mounted it into the box earlier. also been sent a bigger amp and a better wiring kit.
