Are Alchemy needed ?

Just a quicky , are alchemy & all the other kits needed in your inventory ?.
Only reason i ask is that i made some potions the other day without my kit.

unless theres a bug, no
with 1.85 the use of tools(cept the forge lathe and alchemy table) have become null and void

and for some reason i still have the full kits on my crafters:-/

I cant remember if kits were needed for placing rams/trebs etc in rvr, but if they were, are they still needed now then?

nope sewing kit, smith hammer, planning tool, petal and moresa(sp?) ect are completely useless
