I don't know whether its the production, or the possibly dodgy 160kbit mp3 encoding, but the whole thing sounds far too tinny.
The songs with female vocals remind me heavily of 6X, though Apples In Stereo probably came first. I don't much like the drums though, they seem to be boring uniform tap-tap carnival tin buckets. Its mediocrity, imo.

I don't get any of that, still, maybe I'm just blinded by really liking it, They remind me of The Chicks with more talent (altho Chicas are clearly genius in their own way)

Seven songs in, and the whole thing stopped being tinny. So I'm nabbing the 192kbit rip, because it clearly must be a dodgy copy I have. I'm still convinced the lady is the 6X lass. And I'm determined to find out.

Its not. But they could be vocal twins. Apples in Stereo lass is called Hilarie Sydney, I do believe. While 6X's front lady is Lara Kiang.
