Anyone read "The Tesseract"

The book is a follow up to "The Beach" - alex gardener .
Bizarre little book, totally different to the beach and just finished it and cant decide if i liked it , or was i trying too hard to enjoy it... anyone else read it and if so what did you think...
I think personally I am a bit let down by it, tries a bit hard , is quite clever but doesnt live up to the expectations created by The Beach - which I really really enjoyed...and then Leo went and ruined it....

Read it...can't say I liked it tbh. I certainly haven't bothered to pick it up again.

Just me and you on that one then dude... I think with some thought it is a shite book tbh, tries to be clever but just doesnt quite work somehow ...
Still enjoyed Teh Beach though... Time for a little Hunter S Thompson methinks ....
