Any good alternatives to Zune HD?

So it looks like no Zune HD in Europe for the best part of a year, looks like I will be buying something else. Basically I want a good portable media player that supports a wide range of video/audio formats, has a touch screen and gives good sound reproduction. Am I wasting my time or does such a beast exist?
