It may seem that sabre members are taking this a bit personally..and you would be right being as we are being accused of stupidity.
To our defence, we always look to our own realm before visting alb or midland and to be honest it was only a tower, which misty has pointed out, was re-claimed. But to be honest I dont see why I should be justifying the guilds actions on this forum when alot worse has happened in the past.
I did not see this sort of fuss when a keep was released to perpetuate insta RvR acces in hib.
We may not be up there with the leet guilds but we enjoy our gaming and like to have fun so leave us alone eh.
As far as I am concerned this is the last sabre will say on the matter

Experience? tell me, how much experience does Ilaya have? Thats what myself and others would like to know. Because i can tell you just now, he has jack shit. Experience comes from experiencing all parts of rvr and other parts of the game, but Illaya hasn't, he didn't play along side the best players in the realm constantly and beat the best in excal on a daily basis and learned new tactics from other good players. Illaya has been in a few guilds with no real good players, while guys like novamir and saadyst were in two good guilds.

i offer help to new peeps thats why my chars are advisors.
i give stuff away to peeps. even stuff like Mad Tales 2/3 (and if u want evidence of this ask Cueblare from CLA)
i've been involved on more than 500 keeps takes, probably more defenses
been on just about every relic raid hib has ever done
been one of the first on scene everytime a relic was under attack

You probably don't know me in game as i don't really have a guild, nor do i stand in dl screaming lfg for hours i just go out there and do what needs to be done, doesn't bother me if i get run over by a zerg etc, just go out and enjoy yourself (in my case this is normally solo/duo with a friend)

Ok when i mentioned earlier regarding grouping with good players Sputnik i meant that you NEVER played alongside good players when you were RvRing and not PvEing. Maybe when you were doing some ML's? or something similar pve orientated? you may have grouped with the guys above, but i find it very hard to believe that any of these guys would invite a weak champ into their group... Plus the fact that you have always acted like some spoilt little child with no sense of respect or gratitude towards your fellow realm mates.

In my post i did not state that i myself were any leader or such, but i was always there to help assist people and always respected others. This thread at the end of the day was created in retaliation to your spiteful behaviour towards other people not me. Yes i added in my 2 cents and i didn't mix my words and got straight to the point. I didn't like you and many of the people i knew thought likewise and the people i spoke of that held you in such low regard told me the exact same things i thought about you, in that you acted like some 8 year old kid who was arrogant, stupid, bad mannered, obnoxious and down right sickening behaviour.

So if you wish to become some sort of leader in the future, don't act like some asshole from the Third Reich, as this aint gonna get you much friends or support when your trying to lead raids.

Oh and the remark about ebay, i have never had to buy anything off ebay for daoc or any other online game for that matter. Since I started playing online games from the days of UO 7 years ago i could never resort to doing such a thing as i have always made sure that i gain the items and equipment and stature i need in game through my own means, thus giving myself the satisfaction that i have accomplished this myself.

I also know that CLA can be a little arrogant at times (no offence intended). Having large numbers, lots of 50's, people who have been playing a long time, lots of BP's and RPS doesn't always make you the best players.

i think you have mistaken cla for a leet guild we are atm a large number of mainly friends having a good time trying to learn how to rvr with many differnt rvr specs that is why we mainly run as gg, but we are not exclusive in any way we don't operate you must be lvl 50 toa'd ect ect we accept anyone who has the same attitude to the game as we have whether your lvl 5 or lvl 50.
that is why cla has lots of members we have a core of people who like to rvr but we have people who tend to grp with lower levels and do pve raids also.

so arrogant would not be a "title" i'd put on cla, different attitude to kiddie power gamers yes. if we are running one of our raids then yes it will be done our way, when we are on other peoples rais we do it their way.


so please don't tar us with your personal opinnion. its comments like that that can put of potential members off our guild to be swayed away rather than taking a try in our guild. people can always leave if they don't like it just has many people have because it's not maybe what they want from their game.

I’m thinking that the endless discussion in this thread can be ended if people simply realise that no one plays the game exactly alike. People have personnal preferences and they usually stick by them. All we can do is not take everyone and everything for granted, take some consideration to the fellow realmmates. Some things though you can take for granted:

• If you prefer running in a fg and fight fg vs fg fights, you will occasionally get added on by another fg or stealthers.
• If you prefer killing everything you see on sight not caring wether a fellow player / fg is already fighting the target you just locked onto, you won’t be making friends with the “I prefer to play in a fg people”.
• Leeching rps off of a zerg / fg won’t help you make loads of friends either.

So, be more considerate:
Don’t yell/scream/shout/curse when you occasionally get added on.
Check other areas so you won;t be adding on too much and annoy people.
If you need to leech… leech in a usefull way. Target those that threaten to kill / maim / wound the healers and low hp casters… be an assist more then a leech.

At least everybody can be nice to eachother

To be honest that is the most annoying type of leech. They completely ruin the whole fight by interupting the support... Would much prefer a leech to target a main tank or something so they have less impact on the fight. Even better they could fuck off and find their own fights...

I would NEVER join a guild such as CLA simply because it has too many players. I'm sorry if this sways people from joining your precious almighty blah de blah etc guild. I care about the PERSON! not the guild the player is in. I prefer to make friends and keep them close, not just have friends because they are part of that guild.

But you and i have grouped some even duoed a couple of times and had fun, thought we died horribly and kept laughing. Do you think im leet?
I can guarantee that many of the cla members i call my friends are not)
They played long but are still noobs just like me hehe. And i agree.....i stayed friend with Linaz/saulius/hirop as long as i have played this game though he was in different guilds all up until now
But still a guild is usefull to have around you when you need help and all the closer friends are not there. Yes Cla is big and most of the time i dont meet half the people in game But still the ones i do know from there are nice guys that i call my friends....

I admit I don't know all CLA members, but the ones I do know are really nice people and always available to help out non-guilded players with artfacts etc.

On more than one occasion i have been checking out an artifact that i was after, found a CLA group ready to do the encounter and on all these occasions invited me to join for the credit if I asked.

Congrats on having one of the largest guilds in the server. I'm sure it must make you very proud. But you can't deny that you would prefer to run as a guild and not have randoms.

I have yet to meet a guild who would rather group with random players than their own guild mates, that after all is the point of a guild, to play together and have fun together....isn't it?
