Maybe he thinks he is the self proclaimed leader of the zerg but that doesnt mean the rest of us are gonna pay him any attention. Next time just kick him from the BG if you are still the leader of it. I wouldnt take any lip from a loud mouth fuck telling me how to play the game either. If he wants to lead , he can start a new BG and go from there..

Where is ilaya then!!
I led a raid on monday that i planned on thursday... i got hib gms/officers from td alliance in a chat grp and planned it as i thought it would promote the idea of hibs workin together for a change.
Ilaya u flame monday nights raid fair enuff but tbh untill u lead a bg in the current situation and let us see ur so called tactics how can neone be sure of how 'great' a leader u r.
So far all ive seen from u having a go at other players.
The tower we released was done for a couple of reasons:
firstly most of us thought that due to clustering everything would b reset neways (then clustering was delayed or watever)
Secondly we were going to retake the tower straight after wed had some fun in mid (and if nething bad had happened like a raid on nged we would have been bak to hib like a shot).
Thats all i have to say on the matter.
Perssonally i play the game for fun and react to rvr situations as they happen. I have helped to defend many a keep and ive planned a few raids... as i planned monday nights raid in advance i wanted to stick with it rather than go for bolg first. After 2 attempts it failed but im glad we all tryed which is more than i can say for Ilaya.

1.)Kick Gemah from your BG if you dont like what he is saying.

First of all, nobody has the right to tell other ppl how to play. It's a game, each person pay individually for their accounts, and when you get all cocky and tells ppl what to do, you really don't deserve any good behaviour from other ppl.. atleast not in my book.
What would you do if someone told you what to do.. that he knew exactly what was good for you and you were wrong no matter what arguments you had? Would you put up with it?
For all I'm concerned, Ilaya acted like a selfish spoiled brat, and considering he's played the game as long as he has, and created the name he has, he should know better than start behaving like an ass.

as 4 the ppl have played since beta / release comment: cool doesnt mean they know anything of this game tbh, remember when i was bored in emain and took a tw, around 10 mins later a CLA grp came, they got creamed... normaly u would then rel, take a ram with ya / get some more peeps if u realy want the tw back, but nope this grp desided to run @ me again, (at this point a few of my m8's had come around and claimed it) same result... point is they didnt learn from their mistake's and they prob wont...

Point is my friend which you and some other cant understand is that we dont need or want to learn ur kinda game...so it will always seem to you like we never learn. We will continue to play it as we want it...die come back and still have fun. Only people who seem to loose here are you guys...ur idea of fun seem to be to control others to do your bidding, and if we wont you go all babies on us and cry about us not learning having no clue and gimps etc etc etc. Who decided that to be skilled and experienced in this game is to kill fast and furious get most rps of all people and follow a great leader(of ur choise) and take keeps in a grand manor? Imo opinions ur the ones seeing this game as less then it can be...there are more possibilities to have fun/be good in game then that for sure....

For those of you who don't know Ilaya, he can get a little aggrovated at times, but it's usually because he is one of those players who actually cares about what he's doing (perhaps a little too much at times). Don't confuse passion for arrogance.

Well, i know people don't care about my point of view most of the time but here it is
I know what works and what doesn't ... it's all about psychology (wtf i can't spell). Ilaya's methods are a little ... extreme i must say, but a majority of the time, if people listen, they work.
I also know that CLA can be a little arrogant at times (no offence intended). Having large numbers, lots of 50's, people who have been playing a long time, lots of BP's and RPS doesn't always make you the best players.
In an MMO,RPG it's about working together with EVERYONE, which is what a lot of people forget. You prefer your set guild grps that gets lots of rps and forget everyone else. CLA doesn't always do this, i am friends with many members and get lots of random RvR invites ... but i know they prefer to run as set guild groups with no randoms most of the time.
Tower releasing is sometimes inevitable, but a lot of the peoples attitudes are very wrong. Sabre shouldn't have released the tower, whether they get reset or not is not the issue, we have to learn to defend our realm again BEFORE clusting, as the numbers of enemies are going to increase a great deal. My chanter is in a VERY small guild, it's made up of me and a friend. We had only 8k bps and had scat 2 claimed. Unfortunately i stopped playing my chanter for a while and bp's went to about 100. Had to release Scat 2 as we couldn't hold it anymore. Luckily someone was there to pick up the pieces. Tuatha de Mag Mor, Llaw Arian, Dem Hibbies and god knows who else ... I know you have some of the highest RR characters, some of the best players and what not, but can you please refrain from releasing KEEPS!!!
It's very rare we see some proper realm defence. All you dudes keep saying "Oh well, if our relics are under seige we'll be there in a shot". How about making it so that the situation never arises?
Seige warfare: Boring, Yes ... but due to the way the game has been balanced, that seems to be the way of the future. Take a tower, put a hole in a keep, farm inc albs/mids, lots and lots of rps. And if you target ones that are in your Journal (Realm Quest) you also get a bonus of rps for completing the quest. I am always seeing high RR people from other realms (Groove from Mid and ..well i don't know any decent alb guilds) but they will do what it takes to secure proper defence and portaling in their realm. I don't see top hib guilds doing that, they just do whatever gets them the most rps, and that's roaming.
I saw a solo ranger take a small ram (lol) to an unclaimed tower, and took it. Then, me + a vamp + a warden went to that taken tower and farmed albs until their numbers go too big. Where are the other hibs that have the balls to do this? Or willing to go through 10 minutes of boredom (if that) taking an unclaimed tower, next to a keep, to farm albs/mids and piss them off while we reap the benefits of our time, sitting in a ram, pressing the "Swing" button. Or maybe where were the extra hibs that could have come and farmed those Albs? The keep wall was also on a mere 30%, someone could have come with a group or 2 and a war ram and we could have taken the keep easily. But nope, you are all too busy with your insta-get-farmed-on-crau-bridge to come and help.
Did you guys ever stop to consider the benefits of having more keeps? Ok, for those that didn't, let me help you a bit:
8 Keeps Owned: +3% all gold drops
9 Keeps Owned: +3% all exp earned
10 Keeps Owned: +3% all BP's earned
11 Keeps Owned: -3% all crafting timers
12 Keeps Owned: +5% all gold drops
13 Keeps Owned: +5% all exp earned
14 Keeps Owned: +5% all BP's earned
15 Keeps Owned: -5% all craft timers
16 Keeps Owned: +5% power pool
17 Keeps Owned: +5% endo pool
18 Keeps Owned: Faster Power Regeneration
19 Keeps Owned: Faster Health Regeneration
20 Keeps Owned: +5% Chance to critical for Melee
21 Keeps Owned: +5% Chance to critical for spells
So, while we are sitting here with 6 keeps, and mids/albs have 8+ (albs have like 10 atm) they are able to benefit from these extra bonuses. It's why i say take instant RvR to another realm, we get more benefits from it.
Anyway, those are just my opinions, don't bother flaming me for it.

sorry m8...i can see your point of view...and i think i agree with most of it, but that is exactly what we (Sabre) did that you refer to in your post.
Yes we released a tower. Not a keep. A tower, and a T3 at that. When we had finished our evenings raid, we RECLAIMED the tower. No keep was attacked, no relics were put under threat.
The point of the post was that Ilaya immediately started pming us and telling us (in less than polite ways) that we were wrong to do it and had no right to put Hib in jeopardy. OK...if that is what he thinks...fine. He pays his subs the same me and can have his opinion. But he had no right to start having a go at us. He doesn't own Hib, he isn't sitting at my comp, playing my char. I would even have been more receptive had he been in anyway polite, but that was out apparently out of the question. And what noone else has mentioned is, that even after we retook the hib tower, Ilaya's snide and sarcastic comments continued at DL....nice leadership skills.

At the end of the day people should be allowed to do what they like, so long as it doesn't harm others or ruin thier enjoyment of the game. Some people enjoy competative 8v8, some people enjoy solo, some people enjoy zerging and some people seem to enjoy standing at crau with a cata. its the reason they play, i think illaya was wrong to yell at people about the release of a tower, however, they are someone who cares about the realm (a little to much sometimes) we need people like him, far to much apathy around atm (maybe its always been there) saying that though when the shit does hit the fan everyone does work well together, its what makes hib so great
