try a warrior sometime in keep take rvr and see just how 'exciting' it is. at least waiting for a grp in emain i get to read a book

I know my tank has much fun on battlements in keep takes, there is normally a bunch of stealthers up there we get to slam and slap them.

In other news though, at least you even get the oppotunity to sit on the pad, there are a bunch of thanes who don't even bother anymore, at least I know they're having some fun too.

BUT, if it's sill not good enough for you, then please feel free to leave your keeps undefended, it's really no problem, honest mate.

lol, I remember getting a door down at Bled with 4 people not too long ago, the the mid response was 5-6FG..

Did they take the keep quite quickly? if the answer is yes then mission accomplished.

I don't really feel like fannying about with fotm'ers in emain tbh, so I'm pretty much trying to make it as fun as possible for people who don't play savages. I don't know if you've noticed, but savages really, really suck at keep takes

While you lot are running around emain trimming the grass because of the shortage of hibs, we're entertaining those classes that the fotm'ers leave on the pad 'cos they're "shite" and guess what, I think we're having fun...

I find savages particularly like my DoT's and Lifetaps, seems Evade and Quad dmg cant go through keep walls so no owning to be done there by Savages.

a warrior attacking a keep defended by lots of casters and archers etc is just a rp cow. theres no differnce in hibs taking a keep then sitting back and farming mids then some mid savage grp roaming in emain farming there. dont try and justify it as being great for all non savage middie players it aint for a lot of us

most of the albs and hibs posting in this thread will be happy because they got a lot of rp farming mids trying to take back / defend keeps

I know me and some other hunter are happy when hibs/albs are attacking keeps its something different than running around in odins/emain and getting owned by infils who sometimes dont even bother to PA you.

I like keep fights and I like the tactics that is involved with moving the zerg(hibs got nott/bled/hlids, they are going for glen will you take bled now back for wood and rams?). Also I think shammies would like it alot and so do all the RC runnies and possibly the supp sm's aswell. So dont make it sound like mids dont like keep fights, besides its not like we cant go into hibernia tonight and repay hibs/albs for breaking down our doors and having to repair them (damn you hibs damn you ).

Sorrry for you, I know the rest of in these keep takes are having fun, from both sides, there is so much more to this game then getting and giving away RP's. If RP's are your sole measurement for for fun, then I suggest you get onto the fotm train and run around playing havoc. In the meantime the usual cannon fodder will do stuff we enjoy.

It's pretty much the truth, I have never been phased about rp's, yeah they're handy things for RA's but I don't really care about them. I am seldom even grouped at the raids, I make hardly any RP's from the raids, rather there's some satisfaction from trying different tactics in mids boundaries and seeing how whoever is in charge of Mids responds.

In fact I made more RP's taking back crim and crauch from Outlaw over the past few days then I have ever made on a mid keep raid.

In my experience there are loads more people that play the game for basic enjoyment than RP's.

besides its bull that hibs would be the ones to make the uber rp's. You could just wait them out in your own keeps if you cant handle them (no use laying siege to a keep when you are sure you cant win the fight), so then you will be farming them. Besides you could run in a fg around the zerg fights and pick off solo groups/solo'ers, which is most likely decent rp's and you give the hibs very little then.
Otherwise than just dont go into the frontier where there is a keepfight going on and go to the gate zone of the other frontier (meaning emain if the fight is in mid, odins when its in hib, etc).
