another remake

just got another remake of my site off the ground

with both a valid layout and a little content just to spice things up a bit

PS i know the colours are a little off in IE and that my spelling sucks

There is a text-shadow property but browser support seems somewhat lacking.

text-shadow is supported in Safari (and looks very pretty, too). However, it's actually been dropped from the CSS2.1 spec since no-one else supports it. It's present in CSS3, though.

CSS3 also has shadows for boxes, but browser support is obviosuly lacking at the moment.

Thanks for the heads up, Shovel Do you use Safari just for designing or as you main browser on your shiny iBook?

I remember reading that some aspects of CSS3 are being tested in Deer Park/Firefox 1.5 but having checked the list is minimal and doesn't include any shadow properties (as is to be expected given CSS3's status). Ironically, wyrd_fish, Microsoft's filters have far more support in terms of marketshare than the equivalent CSS standards do (not that I'd use them personally, just an observation ).
