Sorry but where does it say that? Both autosport and itv-f1.com say they've lodged an appeal. It might not be successful but every team is allowed to appeal a decision; McLaren could appeal that Ferrari have been stealing their sandwiches in the paddock if they really want to...

What's not standard about it? They're taking it to the FIAs governing body which handles all appeals or did I miss something?
