Well that is something i haven't seen before, but it's not uncommon. Some peeps throw their dogs around, kick catrs etc. I don't know if stopping it is even a possibility, maybe it's something that can't be changed.

I'm not 100% this is real thought since that website seems to be some veggie eater propaganda site.

Wouldn't put it past them, that kind of video would bring a lot of support (see thread).

I'd change the title to "humans are violent" and add a "durrr" at the end ;)

Warning! it's bad, so just dont watch it if you cant stomach it...

I saw this back in 2002 and I've never forgotten it, never will.

I cant watch shit like that , i cant even kill spiders i find in my house.

I really hate violence towards animals , its one of the few thing thats really upsets me.

Ive had alot of arguments when walking my dog cos of tossers who treat their dogs like shit for no reason. Even had one of them attack me a few years ago , he hit me once but he ended up on the floor and i ended up with 2 broken fingers.

Bloody hell Olg, that's just vile. As much as I think PETA has it's share of nutjobs, something like that is just...unforgivable. Not even having the common courtesy of killing the animals before skinning them.

it's part of a full documentary in danish called "Flået levende" wich translates in skinned alive....

it mainly focuses on cats & dog fur trade in Asia,
Wish I had a link to the entire Film....it's a mix of danish and english, so none danes would get the sum of it too...

there are how ever some interviews in dansih at the end of the documentary with a danish fur trader, and his attitude
really hits home what makes this pratice possible
Trader: I dont care, as long as they are of a propper quality & value...I'll buy and sell them.

Well be it as it may, feelings towards animals this or that, considering our laws and "fair judgement"

First; 90 days on lockdown for hitting a cow is just.
Second; if an internet petition extends his judgement, i'll facepalm so hard that my ancestors will go "Tut tut."

If you think 90 days in jail is a pisstake, i have to ask if you've spent even one night in jail.

Nothing jaded about it, but do feel free to cop-out anytime.

You don't change a judging by how you feel about a crime, otherwise there'd be a lot more death penalties flying around.

I think the point of such a petition is not to change the existing penalty (which - afaik - isn´t even possible once it has been through the court), but to express the common sense of justice and maybe adjust the degree of penalty for future cases.

Not one single night. If I was to bully and abuse animals as was the case, then I hope you would put me away for a long time.

How many nights have you spent in jail and what was it for?

Good point, as a medium of "i don't like this" and freedom to express that, it's valid. I don't have to agree with it ofcourse, but each to their own.

So if you, say, kicked your dog in a burst of anger, you should be locked way for...let's see...30 days? Sounds fair? I don't think so(even if i absolutely hate animal cruelty), but if you do, then be it.

Since you asked, i've spent a night in jail as i was a suspect in a fight which ended in someone getting hospitalised. Innocent and no harm, but it's no picnic when you start to think that the box you're in might be your only place for a good long while.

Try sitting in the bathroom and see how long you can stay there, kind of a fitting try out.

The sentence is hardly of any consequence, he has to live with public opinion for the rest of his life.
