That march up the field by Brady in the last two minutes was a thing of beauty.

As a Bengals fan of some 30 years would it be too much to ask if they could call time on the whole season right now please. Before normal service is resumed and we get crapped on.

Oh, and Dream Team. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.......

Oh Eagles....they are worth a laugh aren't they? :D

Your Bengals did a bloody great bit of business yesterday offloading Palmer to the Raiders for what was it, a first and second round draft pick.

I think the Bengals have a pretty bright future over the next couple of years. Dalton and AJ Green alone are a young base around which you could build a whole team, not to mention a defense that suddenly got good this season! One of my friends here in DC is from Cinci and he's well happy with the way things have been going for them!

Is American Football the game where the players wear about 100lbs of military grade body armour so they don't get hurt?

You're right they do wear a lot of padding, but believe it or not the amount of injuries these guys get (albeit most of them niggling little ones) is amazing. The difference is that in the NFL these guys are multi-multi-million dollar assets to their respective teams. Yeah they could probably go out there every week and tough it out the way Rugby players do, but there is no way the Eagles are going to send out Micheal Vick to get badly hurt when they know they owe him a guaranteed 60 million over the next 5 years. Not saying you're wrong exactly, just that there is a reason for it!

Much like say Jenson Button who has a 50 million deal over the next few years?

Yeah but these players are going out with it a forgone conclusion that they are going to get hit hard by another guy in pads anywhere between 5-50 times. (depending on their position) I understand your point but the likelyhood of Button getting hurt is a lot less I think.

Pardon? It might be less but the risk is far greater, 200 MPH crashes ....

I agree the danger and steaks are much much higher, but the likelihood of Button getting hurt is a lot less than one of these NFL players getting injured I think.

The Bears really should have it in them to beat the Buc's but after that long flight its really hard to say how either team will do.

Cracking win for the Bears - wasn't the most vintage of games and we almost threw it away at the end but our trusty defence came through with the INT at the end.

Forte had a blinder running the ball, Cutler looked poor - especially when under pressure - both his INTs were basically from him panicking and just lobbing it. Both teams conceded far too many penalties and the Tampa Bay offence was pretty poor, hardly any rushing yards.

All in all a great game, but I'd never be able to handle a franchise here - it's 2.5-3hr drive each way plus parking and train/tube to the stadium, I'm knackered

My missus is a nurse and she keeps saying that with the injury problems he has in his neck he is probably finished, and if he does ever come back it will probably be against all sensible medical advice!

I had Colsten on my fantasy team yesterday :flame::D
