Fuck is going on tonight with Amazon.

Bought some stuff and it's charged me the full price even though i've got them on lightning deals. It even says when i'm purchasing that the price i'm paying is the discounted price, but then at the end it charges me full whack.
Mine did that too but it showed a deduction lower down. If you miss the time scale of the lightning deal its full price though. I only had about 5 minutes to pay.

Item Subtotal: £24.98
Delivery & Handling: £0.00
Credit applied: -£0.00
Lightning Deal: -£9.98
Total before VAT: £16.66
VAT: £3.33
Total: £19.99
Paid by Visa:
£19.99

Yeah was weird, i was well within the period for it so it shouldn't have. Messaged Amazon and they responded immediately though and it was quickly fixed.

Just hope it doesn't happen within the next hour or so, considering i have my eye on that laser printer and SSD. Might hold off on the laser printer though for an all-in-one.

Ah you done it again! The top left button just highlight and click it with your recent bike one. Should fix it for others at least.

That TV is £550 in richer sounds with a 5 year warranty chucked in, or was the other day when I was there. I got the model down (the 570t) for £440 with a 5 year warranty.

I thought that Amazon would have learned from the previous years how to make it better, still is The Fastest Click in the West who wins the prize. Specially suprised at them this time around considering they had a monitor, SSD, notebook amongst other things all going up at the same time. And each of them went before the option came up.

What's annoying is the fact that on all the not-so-interesting items, the option to buy is up as soon as the timer reaches zero. But there is very clearly a massive delay showing up on more important stuff.

I nabbed an M4 on Monday, it's still on the PC Pro A-List over a year after release. I installed it last night and did a clean install of Windows 8. Boot time is now something stupid like 3-4 seconds from end of BIOS checks to Windows login screen. This is on an over 5 year old PC. The Windows performance score for the box as a whole has jumped up by 1.5 to 6.8 (I've got a 8800 NVidia GPU that holds it back).

Well worth the £100 imho.

Is it me or are they putting the prices up before the deal starts to make the percentage saved bigger?

Check http://uk.camelcamelcamel.com for any potential price differences, last year it was known that certain items had been inflated then reduced to "sale" value, which wasn't the case.

Well that left a bad taste in my mouth.

There was a Samsung Galaxy Player 4.2 8GB on the offer, £130 usual price. I was watching the countdown and saw it come up as £69.99. HELL YEAH! Hit the button, ran through the order in less than a minute and came to the final screen.... no discount showing. The item was full price.
I got straight onto live chat and explained what I was doing and where I was in the order. The bloke said that the offer was already expired. I said that I find that hard to believe since it only switched over 2mins ago, I hit it straight away and was on the final order screen in less than a minute. He apologised but repeated himself. I was pissed off in the extreme.

I opened another window, reloaded Amazon and got to where the item was in the list.... no longer showing.
Now when a deal is 100% claimed, it says deal closed but the item still shows in the list. This Galaxy Player isn't even showing in the list.
I raised it as a complaint for not applying the discount at ordering, and a complaint for not showing the item in the list once it was expired.

We'll see what the outcome is.

I don't think you'd be the only one zenith, probably happens all the time with the electronic deals.

If you mean the exploit where if you change your time on your PC to about a minute ahead... Then yes :<.

Still didnt fuckin matter eitherway, the best deals where still gone in <00000.01 seconds anyway.

So with it being over now, anyone get any good deals, since i don't think Black Friday promotion is active from now.

This year, all i got was those mini speakers. Fucking things. :<

Far cry from last year when i got an Xbox360, Skyrim, WWE 12, Starcraft Keyboard and a 6month LoveFilm subscription.

Fail :<

To be honest the reductions weren't that great, you would have still spent a fuckton of money if you had. So buy yourself something nice and celebrate :)
