Black Friday Week starting this week!

I remember getting a few bargains last week but it wasn't brilliant, due to the lag experienced when cracking deals arrived, but i hold out hope that they recognise the issue 2 years on the trot to make it better this year..?

How good are the deals, and how much shopping around do you do? Reason I ask is that I saw this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Hypnia-Matt...1OLE&s=kitchen&ie=UTF8&qid=1353314360&sr=1-13 - RRP £459.99

Now, I need a new double mattress, so £167 seemed like a bargain, especially since it came with two memory foam pillows. A quick google revealed:

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/HYPNIA-4ft-6-DOUBLE-SIZE-VISCO-MEMORY-FOAM-MATTRESS-FAST-DEL-/160856683841

£93, a good £70+ cheaper than the Amazon price. GG.

You have to check around with any deal, in general quite a lot of them do seem really good deals.

I put it in my basket, but i went AFk and forgot to buy it :<.

Had my eye on one of those inkjets too, but the prices weren't right. Still holding on for a laser.

I thought I'd missed the SSD but got it on the waitlist.

It never lives up to the hype, it's always a stock clearance.

SSD was £15 cheaper than eBuyer so about 13% cheaper than you can get it elsewhere at the moment. It's good for me because I will run it through the books before next April hits and I've just upgraded to Windows 8 so this is cheap enough, will encourage me to do a fresh install of Windows and will stop me buying the £220 motherboard that I've been eyeing up :)

They have some quite attractive offers interspersed with a lot that isn't of interest. So far the 12Gb PS3 + Book of spells package at 169 (compared to 199 cheapest elsewhere) has seemed a good deal. The Crucial 256Gb M4 SSD at 99 rather than 115 at Ebuyer is also good. Unfortunately anything good goes very quickly so if you see something you are interested in coming soon then check the best prices elsewhere nad if the Amazon price beats that then click quickly. You then have 10 minutes to go through or not go through with the purchase.

Similar to the Google Play sales. One or two worth having. Maybe. The rest just shite no one would ordinarily go out their way to buy

I might have a go at selling some shit on ebay. Someone put up an opened pack of 18 B&H a builder left at his house and someone bought it for £7.

All I want is the Sennheiser RS 180 to drop to the £150 mark in this sale.

I just picked up RockSmith including cable for £22.99, down from £39.99.
Considering that i asked for an electric guitar for Christmas, I reckon its a good purchase.

Does this work ? have you heard good things ? If so, I want.

Edit: Though I'd prefer a drums version.

Saw this on a guitar forum:
I reviewed Rocksmith for a videogame magazine.

I think you should never use Rocksmith as your one and only learning tool. It lacks lots of fundamentals and could lead to extremely bad habits. Not cool.

I find it useful and funny as a "supporting tool". An "extra" you can use when you don't feel like doing a proper practice. This way, it's cool.

Anyway, your main learning source should be a real guitar course or, even better, a teacher in real life. Using Rocksmith only is pure madness, IMHO

That seemed to be the consensus.

Fuck is going on tonight with Amazon.

Bought some stuff and it's charged me the full price even though i've got them on lightning deals. It even says when i'm purchasing that the price i'm paying is the discounted price, but then at the end it charges me full whack.
