Go over it in about 30mins, after spamming #ot.exc with 'loooooooool omg loooool' for half an hour, i then got bored. I know adari can be a decent bloke anyway and I've got no doubt he'll be a decent enough mod, I just found the whoel idea to be hilarious.

EDIT:

- Tilda is a he.
- When tilda tells you not to do something you do it, even if you didnt intend to in the first place.
- Tilda doesnt moderate this forum much any more, mainly RvR.
- We bullied him out
- Hes a nice guy and all, just not cut out for being a mod (imo).

2) this only happens on eOT, which is why i mentioned that this board doesnt count for tilda
3) doesnt really matter
4) proves why a mod must be respected to moderate and he does fine on the other boards

The problem is no mod is respected on EX/OT since some people seem to think they can post/flame/be offensive/rude/<fill in other nasty stuff> when they want on this section. Now don't get me wrong here, i am not looking for respect from you since i know beeing a moderator usually means taking the piss but if warnings, bans, talks and endless discussions don't seem to get us anywhere this is worth a try.

And to be honest, i'm glad to see atleast one frequent forum visitor made the effort of finding a possible solution. Pointing fingers is easy but finding a solution is the hard part.

lox suggested this earlier and damini before him . Adari did remember it and it was good of him to suggest it, but he didnt find the solution .

How is this different to the E&E system, damini wanted to make it forum wide, but test it in eOT, lox wanted to use it in 'problem' forums and test it in eOT. Both times they were told it was a crap idea by the majority.

About Loxley's suggestion, I haven't read Loxley's post before but I guess both mine and his ideas come down to having one from the 'society' mod the 'society'. However I don't agree with making new rules and selecting E&E's - which I don't find an appropriate name - in a poll as some sort of popularity test, but that isn't relevant anymore.
