I have 679 and it costed me almost 3p if I remember correctly...
So my guess is it would be ~2p

Costs me in excess of 25 plat to get LGM..tonnes of money loss on procs unless you can sell them to other players.
Just a small warning if you intend to lvl that far, I had the help of guild and friends thankfully at the time.

30plat to reach Reacitve ablative level... but it was worth it... need 5 more platinum to reach the 100p

It cost me:
1 plat 0-650
2 plat 650-800
7 plat 800-900
14 plat 900-1000
5 plat 1000-1065
I made about 2 plat back from profit/sales
If your going to go all the way, stockpile as many lich teeth & Ancient Necrotic Brain Fluid drops as you can the poison is 990 skill now and not 1000. Ideally you can make that from 971-999, when you hit 1000 you can start on 1000 skill potions. I'm sure you would rather spend 2.75 gold per make instead of 35
You will need proc's as components for future reactives, stock as many level 40 procs as you can afford (814-829) for later use. Especially the fire/cold ones as your gonna skill on them buggers, no point making them all again
Also make as much dye as you can its great, I made it until it went green as its only ever 9% loss to merchant compared to 50% loss charges/procs/potions etc

Alchemy sucks if you want a fast trade.
I'm currently at 977 skill, and got here from 966 after wasting 2.3 plat =/
Went a whole plat without gains >< this is horribly demoralising, especially because it takes a LOT of boredom to round up 100+ seals to get those moneys.

I reached 700 skill recently, the cost was between 1 and 1.2p.

700+ skill here too, only took around 950g which is nice.. but i am dreading it over 800-850 skill

At 815 skill the best dyes will go orange (cloth) you can make them until they go grey at around 885 (enamel). These will cost 1.50 gold total loss to make each. The other stuff around that skill mark are the level 40 procs that cost 9 gold total loss.
I would just make as much of the dye as possible... But! I would also vault 80 level 40 procs for later use if ya can. I made 20 heat/cold/spirit/energy procs and vaulted them to make level 40 reactives from about 955 skill.
