Nice hi-jacking of the thread - Kaleidoscope has been trying to sort a set-group recently and now we have one we're trying to get some fights in Agramon and all you can do is QQ - do a comeback and show us how its done then or stop trolling fucking forums with your useless spam.

'My' group isn't full of people that only want FG action because the competition disappeared fyi guys, I've wanted to be a part of the FG stuff for ages and after a failed attempt on Alb, I tried again on Hib with a guild - that didn't work, so now I'm back on Alb. I asked people I know who play regularly enough to be a part of a group and so far it is working and we're having fun. The fact that everyone rerolled Avalon is nothing but a coincidence here (arguably it helped though, as it perhaps freed up peoples' commitments). I've ran in Agramon with PUGs before when possible, but it isn't the same as running with the same people. We're going back after every loss (with replacements if needed) and trying stuff out, and discussing each and every fight afterwards, win or lose; if we're not in Agramon we're trying our hardest not to add on soloers etc. and we will always be in Agramon as long as there is action anyway, so please don't knock my group before it has even really got going, as all groups have to start somewhere

I'm saying this because I'm not enjoying the stigma of others thrown into my group when it is clearly nothing to do with it. It does have 2 members from KF in it atm, but who knows... we may become our own guild in the future, it certainly doesn't make it a KF group; we are merely like-minded people looking for FG fights. We don't have a name for the group yet, so maybe it is too hard for us to be indentified atm apart from the apparent guild history of certain members. I personally hate zerging and siege warfare (of course I've done it rarely, I'm not going to deny this) so please don't label me with that stigma.

I won't be posting this type of post again to defend my group, if it is big enough of an issue to us we can deal with it. I do not need to justify anything to anyone, the groups we are currently facing in Agramon know what we're like and we will continue to play as we are - time will tell. I would love to see more new groups going to Agramon personally, and atm I would like to think it is being encouraged on the cluster - perhaps it will one day get to the stage where the Avalon rerollers will be interested enough to come back too

Thanks to those groups that turned up on Sunday btw, my group was full of replacements but I think we did well

Starting with new grp is definitely very hard, seems u got the attitude right atleast. With many good groups inactive its probably a good time to start as well.

If you have members who are well known zergers you're bound to get some whine and negative comments in the beginning (I've prolly been guilty of that too), best thing you can do is just prove the whiners wrong. Every new group is only a positive thing in the fg scene after all. Last time I played on cluster there definitely wasn't too much groups out... except for the damn realmm8s ofc

If you care about the "respect", just don't go the hypocrit route... announce on fh "olol m8s im all in for fair play now" and whine about adds, next day zerg like you used to... rinse and repeat.

Anyway, it seems the idiot zergers/adders have won, they have managed to kill DAOC completely on cluster, i do hope they are satisfied.

leet is the completely wrong word, they wont have my respect as a player for well, being crappy players without any skills or as a person, deliberately going out of their way to ruin other players fun and "blackmailing" the community "lol we gonna ac relics?". its on a completely new level of being, well, i dont even know what but it doesnt have anything to do about fairplay or respect of other players i think it tells you quite a lot about guilds like CM that they manage to piss off not only your so-called "leet ircbois" but also all the more casual players, the roleplayers and the soloers. when everyone on the server hates you i think you've done something wrong.

Absolutely great to see AC and CM give it a go, they should be offered support and encouragement, not your whinage Sept.

As to post before this - NFD GG1 havent had an add problem in Agramon for 4 or 5 months.

To my knowledge we were the only albs in Agramon last night with a pug and we fought Da Police about 6 times and 1 or two other groups....never even saw anything to add on let alone actually do the adding so i dont know how you came up with this statement. Seems to be yet another amazing generalisation.

The 'what to do' and 'what not to do' rules seem rather different amongst people. The groups Ive ran with leave any fight alone, leave resting groups alone (even messed a group to give a hug and run away).

At times this bites you in the ass, when a group decided that after we ran past their resting spot they could run over us from behind. But overall, the people seem to be off the same mind, so thats all good.

The ONLY soloer i saw in agramon yesterday was some hibbie adding on AC vs Da Police fight. When a soloer appears like that, we left him alone, thinking he was watching, but then he started nuking and killed Tze. Which wasn't that ace. Didn't see him again though after DP killed him. And not any other soloers/smallgrps thingies either. (Apart from one 1v1 on agramon bridge.)

At times this bites you in the ass, when a group decided that after we ran past their resting spot they could run over us from behind. But overall, the people seem to be off the same mind, so thats all good.

Aye it's abit shit when that happens, but keep in mind people resting don't want to miss out on a fight so they try to engage you before you meet something else. Still not nice to jump someone like that, but you should always keep an eye out incase they come.
