I'm a little bewildered as to how a thread titled agramon-monday, which contains purely discussions of events in agramon on monday, could be considered off-topic?

Unless there is certain stuff that someone who happens to be a member of a certain guild (and who also happens to be a mod) would prefer to have swept under the carpet?

The Agromon bit was great good reading.

It turned into an add flame, which happened to be against Synergy.

It was not closed because of the targetted guild, but because it was beginning to turn from a discussion into a targetted flame. I was unsure if it should be closed, so checked with Flim who said it was fair to do so.

I've passed the message onto Flim, who will reopen it if deemed necessary.

If that's your take on the thread I don't doubt you. Whether a thread merits closing is a subjective thing.

My personal reading on the thread though, was that it if you read the posts from yourself, sharkith, shike, spook, and other people, they are all very constructive and they continue right until the last page.

If it had been anything other than a Synergy mod who had closed the thread it would simply be a decision i disagreed with. However, in these circumstances it's both a decision I disagree with and one which gives me huge doubts about the way mods behave on this forum and their level of bias. I just can't picture you doing the same were it another guild, because there is absolutely no personal abuse, cheating accusations, trolling etc. that would normally merit thread closure.

In my eyes, a) the behaviour is anomalous and b) there exists clear motive/reason for bias on the part of the mod.

I understand your perception. If the other mods think my actions were too harsh, they will reinstate the thread as requested I am sure, as I fully understand why there could be seen to be bias in this case.

I'll leave it in Flim's more than capable hands as a neutral party. The matter is closed until reviewed.
