Therefore, HIV does not cause AIDS.

It's a weird one really. I tend to use it a-sap, which is half and half.

Unless you want to put force behind it, then using a slow paced A S A P motherf*ckers is a lot more effective

I wouldn't use it myself in regular conversations, since it implies to a degree that the person you're referring to is lazy and needs to be pushed to do it ina timely fashion.

"as soon as" or even "soon as" are commonly accepted these days and understood, the latter has the same number of syllables as "asap" so there's no excuse to use it.
