Ok, I smiled a little bit over the pic, but I'm not feeling sorry for you. :) Inf's will still be overpowered after that little nerf.

Inf's role never got changed. Unless their role while you were levelling them was "get buffbotted to the max". Coz that's the only way you'll notice the Evade difference.

And I do feel bad for the infs... I don't think its fair to take away ip from any one class. I personally don't believe in it, but it should be available to everyone.

I think IP shouldn't be given to any class at all!(except healer instas).

Would make more sense if tanks had an 'invulnerability' RA... as in, they take no damage for 20seconds or so. Sound more like what 'Ignore Pain' represents...

How the hell does a non-caster class suddenly heal himself!?
Goes against common sense and roleplaying.

lol set ignore pain as a passive skill that a char that has it doesn't die even if he/she has no hitpoints left - until the timer runs out :)

Forget it, it's perfectly possibly/easy. Just takes a bit of practice.

A lot of the newb infs won't know but they'll figure it all out soon enough.

Well, to be fair, how can you justify an asassin (which is what they are, not invisible-uber-killing-machines) being able to take down a tank in plate/chain/scale armour? That's not what an asassin is supposed to be able to do, in my opinion...

So the upcoming 'nerf' is a good thing, for a while every but the people who play them have been complaining about asassins, and rightfully so, the upper hand they're given over everyone else is unfair.

Maybe this will stop every other gimp in Albion making infiltrators, too... :rolleyes:

read the class board on IGN forums.
Skip the whine posts and see what infils are saying past 1.56

the are nerfed more
not only IP and evade but SC will reduce the critstrike damage lots

I feel sorry for morch having made 2 level 50 (and a level 45 cleric, we all know whathappened with that class) that have been hit with the nerfbat. Infils will still be strong but not what it was

ATM infils are overpowered but they will be nerfed bad enough to justify morchs statement.

It is just that Albion classes are much weaker then other realms. (see camelot-seeer for stats).

I don't mind but will switch to WoW if its not turning into a Diablo2 cheathell.

I am lucky enough to started TEH gimp class (melee in general) and get some loving. Perhaps if you wait long enough scouts will be playable again :)

Yes, im sure those changes will only affect infiltrators and not other 3 classes. Get over it, sheeesh.

Assassins are being turned from god-like killing machines into something normal that actually has to think before pressing the "I win" button and you guys are all in tears.

No sympaties from me either.

You can't be serious? crush damage? You mean the sort of damage that infiltrators and nightshades aaand rangers are vulnerable to? :)

Reality check - everyone else's damage will be reduced as well. That's assuming we all RvR in this mythical land where all our opponents have a perfect set of MP armour with full resists, +skills and +stats, and procs, always have IP/MoC/FA/etc up all the time, always have perfect reactions, always land their styles when you always miss yours, and always solo. Because they're the assumptions that 99.9% of the whines on ign are based on.

yeh thats true, ignboards are teh ev1l whiners. They do have 5 patches more to whine about though ;)

besides 1.56 will take at least 7 more years or so

Infs with skill are still going to pwnz0r. Stop bleating and play your class with skill. Who cares if we get nerfed? Hell when I started playing an Inf we were the gimpiest of all the gimps. I managed fine like that before, I'm sure any inf with half a brain cell will manage fine now.

I do think that

a) IP being removed from all assassin classes is stupid.

If you're going to restrict it to a class, fine, give it to tanks. Don't give it to tanks/casters/archers/healers/everyonebutassassins.

That's just obvious nerfage and is a very poor way of doing things.

b) Evades being lowered is purely a result of whinage from tanks. The evades were recently (in some patch or other) made high enough for everyone to feel good about themselves. OK so I have paper armour, but I dodge... A lot! Great! Well, they've reverted it back to what it was basically <shrug> big deal.

c) Damage output being lowered.

This is one where i have a problem. Assassins are "sudden strike instant death, if they don't kill you in the first few hits then they are dead" kinda characters. If damage output is lowered too much it'll just be another melee class with the ability to get a single hidden attack. Hmm. And leather.. and no shield spec..

Not quite sure that's massively balancing to the game, but then again, most tanks are so crap that it won't matter if the inf/assassin is halfway clueful.

It's all about player skill. I've fought against 3 yellow con thanes (at level 50) and won (once). Now those were obviously noob thanes who had no idea what a 50 thrust inf was capable of. If I had tried it against some better players, i'd have been minced into small chicken flavoured pieces.

No substitute for skill my friends, even a nerf can't take that away from you.

I would just like to point out mister, that healers don't get ip. I have 2 instaheals that heals 75% hp and for those I payed 629 spec points.
But ofcourse that doesnt sound like much to a class with 2.5 spec points or watever you infils get :rolleyes:

Sorry you don't get IP which is a 100% self instaheal.

Instead, for less points, you get a second 100% group instaheal.

Don't recall the name offhand, but don't bleat about it ;)

That would be Paladins. Healers get Perfect Recovery (for a silly amount of points concidering its usefulness, if you ask me). Anyway, we dont get ip and neither do casters fyi. :)

Edit: Oh and paladins get ip and first aid on top of that 100% instant group heal by the way. A hybrid/tank with more powerful instaheals than a healer. Thanx mythic :) :clap:

Perfect recovery - that's the chap.

Anyways,I here and now start the "nerf archers" campaign.

Archers shouldn't be allowed IP if assassins aren't. Simple reason being that it's just not in keeping with their class type :)

I've already emailed mythic - WHO'S WITH ME!!!???
