Quit talking about minstrel mez as if it's worth bothering about - AOE = 5 second cast, usually they're out of range and if it does land your lucky if it lasts 25 secs.

single target is fine though.. very slow casting from 1 target to the next though since it's a song that has to be stopped before it can be cast again, so again we're hardly a good CC class :p

I use to play a bard, also played a healer both to high levels and both were far better at CC than a minstrel. It's about time Albion had a CC class that could actually crowd control :D

Hmm...

Sorcerers are better with normal mezz (both single and AE) because of the increased range and the QC ability means they can cast it alot faster and more reliably than bards and healers can.

However, with Bards having lulla and Healers having AE stun, and both having insta mezz and AE mezz, they are probably slightly ahead of the Sorcs in terms of offensive CC capability, and the added fact that they have high healing capabilities and higher armour types, means they can survive longer, but sacrifice offensive capabilities (sorc has DD's).

I can see the Bard and Healer being given the same range mezzes in a later patch though :(

Anyone else got a popular class with quickcasting CC? You casters dont know how useful your quickcast is :p Try playing ranger against bloody uber casters :)

So you loose time to cast an ae-mezz by purging away the Nearsight which gives the Mid or Hib-group enough time to be in range for their instant-cc.

Believe me, there's always a counterpart you can use against Sorc-CC. ;)

bah!

stop whining... for most of my time rvring the only cc we have had is minstrel ones. werent many sorcs on before....
and nto many thrugs that were able to mezz either. and sure Ive complained before Ive always been forced to fight wihouth cc before and Ive won alot of fights

skills is to rvr wihtout cc or speed, and win...

have to agree.. bit silly that only albs and hibs are getting the good group ra's that makes damn hard to beat in rvr. Tho this topic has been argued soo many time and i dubt mythic read these boards to notice the complaints

think it is fair albion got a Mezz upgrade, they where the only ralm with out insta mezz, will not start to talk about RA we SHOULD be balanced without them and we SHOULD be balanced with them, but.. we are not.

getting albion a better mezz was a step in the right direction, when it comes to CC

Give Mid some "useful" RA's.

Take away bolt-range-mez(and 400 radius) and give Sorc's instantmezzes.

Nerf Zerkers.

Make BM/Merc better.

Remove Chanter pet.

Give all realms Mage baseline stun.

Give hib some players [atleast more than 23%(less thsn 1/4 :p)].

Give warrior Specific Class weapon.

Make Shadeblasts 1500 range and 15 sec recast and slightly more powerful.

Give Thanes and Reavers HP.

Make buffs stick only on a 3500 Range Radius.

If this was done, would Barryswhine die?

Just remove their snaredd's should be fine, and make them unable to chase stealthed players (scouts hunters sb's etc)

Rather remove stun from all mages, stun on a mage is just way to powerful, even tho it's "only" lasting for x amount of seconds and it can be purged (root anyone?) a stunned player will be nuked to shreds before he can say 'ksmyas'

Thanes got more now, reavers got their pulsing pbae so they can shove HP up where the sun don't shine ;)

BEST ONE EVER!!! this would really boost grouping and the buffwhores would be no more, then again mythic aren't really against bb's since it increases their revenues ... :(

Remove purge from all class including GP

Give all realms AE stun ? and insta AE stun

Make bards and minstels song/chant useable without instuments

Give all realms AOE stun would need to much work. U would have to give mids stuning styles other then laxe ( second of evade ) and remove stun from hib casters and mincer instean stun and give mids a third healing class. Sounds like a new game where all 3 realms looks the same.

cyhreath are ok. The cait sidhe on the mid side of the mid mile gate are much better.

They proc alot more often.

Yep Greggor, really good idea to remove all purges and let all realms have aoestuns, wonder how long it would take for a group of 4 PBAoEcasters to wipe a fg along with a AoEstunner that is instant aswell :rolleyes:

I just want determination to affect weaponstylestuns, thats all.

I'm all for giving alb and hib castable AoE stun and insta, but on one condition: You gotta place it on a class with no speccable offence whatsoever... What? You don't have any? Aww, too bad. Guess it's just healers that can have it then.. :)

Healers have speccable offense. Its called the Aug line. Damage adds damage shields haste buffs...

and a shield = defense.

Aug = buffs = no offense.

Um the healer Aug line is woefully sub par, no it cannot be called 'offence' by any stretch of the imagination.

AE stun is a pacification spec btw, so a healer with AE stun automatically has no offensive capability :(

My 45 pac healer can only just solo some blue con mobs.

Our only interupt against the bolt range mezz is castable (2 sec cast admittedly) amnesia, give me insta amnesia i'll stop whining about the mezz.
