Can someone plz tell me what an admin actually does on Barrysworld servers ?

I was playing on barrysworld 7 last night when a player realising i was female decided to give me lots of verbal abuse this i generally gotta put up with , but as a admin was present i thought he might give the player a warning as he had when someone tk'd .
When i asked why he had'nt he replied that its part of the game and i gotta put up with it or leave .

I wonder why i started playing on blueyonder servers where the admin are more fair and reasonable and appreciate that being female should'nt mean i'm there to be verbally abused.

Who was the admin? usually they dont tell you who they are, and if the guy was verbally abusin ya... what about your Mute?

Yeah i do use the mute button but with a admin present i thought i would'nt have to

I do have his name and his won id and screenshots of what he said to me.

Basically i was disappointed
I've been playing for almost two years and most of the guys are brillent on the servers but there's always one that wants to verbally abuse you and i thought admin would have stepped in .......but i was wrong

I must say I occasionally play DoD on BY servers , and it amazes me how strict they are about such thingss as swearing etc, but then maybe im used to the BW style do-fuck-all-about-it. Somewhere in between may be the answer

Lara, I take it from what you said that the person said it over voice comms?

If so, the admin may not have voice comms turned on, I know I dont.

If thats the case then its no fault of the admins that he did not hear it.

If the abuse was typed then perhaps he should of done something.......

If it was over voice comms you could have fixed it by simply muting that player. There would be no reason to warn someone when they can simply be muted.

Had it been written abuse, which everyone would see and no one would be able to ignore the admin should have done something.

Its as if the person asking is a 15 year old schoolboy with a towel in one hand and zitcream in the other. So what if a girl/woman is playing? Who cares? For all I know D0lly could be a woman. Or a hermaphrodite - after all, he is cloned, and emerged from a goat or something.

Noo, if i was on Laura i would have done something, i think if any bw admin was on and they heard the abuse they would have done something,
i remeber a while back warning someone for giving u abuse, this they typed though, but as ch3tan says if it was over the voice comms, not everyone actually use these, so the abuse you received could have been missed,

its really sad and no one, be it male or female should have to put up with it,

but i think you will find that playing on BY will not stop the abuse, there will always be one prick spoiling it.

i have played with Laura & Matt a few times, great peeps, who like to play the game, its a shame that they have went to BY

I went onto a Jolt server last night because all the main BW Servers where full... and feck me i got one helluva hammering.....

always happens when i go to Jolt Servers

It's the opposite for me, I always do well on jolt, but bloody awfull on BW Dunno why, I dont want to plaY on jolt!
